Amazing!!

I know a lot of people say that it is not very durable but I have had mine for 3 years now and it is still working like new. I think if you take care of it and maintain it it will work amazingly.

Exactly what is expected

A pedal that has a great feeling when going up and down. Does its job flawlessly. My only fear is the chord inside the pedal breaking, but never got anywhere near that.

Built like a tank

My first volume pedal and I love it. Really smooth and it works like a charm.

Amazing.

Love it!

While the volume functionality is straight forward, the volume sensitivity is very smooth and the best expression pedal I’ve ever used.

Am using a mxr carbon delay in my pedal board, and they work amazing as a combo; the swell effects sounds amazing!

And the fact that its passive and don’t require any power is great!

High recommended

Excellent, does the job perfectly

Great build quality, smooth transition from silent to full volume. I pair it with my VS buffer on my board. No noise whatsoever while transitioning. Have had it now for a few years and never had any issues!

WHat a wonderful pedal

Great construction, great materials, great control, amazing pedal. It is not cheap, but really worth every single euro. I have solved all problems I had with my previous volume pedal: no noise anymore, and finally very precise control of the volume.

Best Price for Best quality

Ernie ball makes reliable products, especially when it comes to volume pedals. I ordered my one last month, I was really happy when I got my hands (feet) on it. For the price I paid, Its Awesome! Not expensive at all. Was looking at other Volume pedals but this was in my price range. Make sure you have a big(or semi big) pedal board :)

The volume control is very smooth & even. The Tuner plug-in is extremely use full. It makes my life easy!

the classic volume pedal

I was struggling between this and the boss FV-500, but finally I'm glad I went for the ernie ball.

You can feel the high quality metal chassis. It feels heavy enough and solid. It has the right size and the volume control is pretty smooth.

I have to admit here that I've tried a "vintage" ernie ball volume pedal from around early 90s and I liked the faster reaction of the pedal. What I mean is that with a small movement you get a bigger reaction.

Maybe this has to do with the specific pots, I really don't know.

The tuner output is also a very helpful feature.

Overall, I totally recommend this product.

Very good build quality!

The materials are of very good quality, feels very good with shoes (or without) and the pedal does the job right!

Exactly what you need !

The quality is so perfect, and the ability to plug the tuner outside of the chain makes it really practical.

Also it doesn't need a power supply, you just plug and you are ready to go.

The smoothness in the pedal going up and down explains a lot about the quality of the company.

Definitely recommend it !

Not just for pedal steel players

I got this as I entered the pedal steel world, but find myself using it regularly now for most guitar work,.

Super smooth action, excellent build quality.

Ernie Ball EB6180 VP-JR

I use it for what is made: give me volume and take it off.

I have tried to play with and without this pedal to see if there is a loss of volume, tone or frequency. There is no loss, it's well built and heavy, but it's ok for me.

Junior Volume pedal by Ernie Ball - quality at its best

Easy to use, no power needed, input for a tuner and a witch to change how the volume pedal responds to your foot.

Ernie Ball, have established themselves in the market as serious people who make road worthy equipment.

The price is more than worth it.

Ernie Ball Vlume Pedal EB6180 VP - JR

This pedal is well made of solid aluminium and works by means of a strong string moving the volume pot, it is the same principle as a Eemmons pedal used for pedal steel guitars very reliable l know because l play pedal steel and the string on mine has never broken so its a good system l would have liked a A&B pot in the ernie ball pedal but they are hard to get now but apart from that its a great pedal robust and sounds very good.

Really good investment!

If you want complete control over the volume of your instrument this volume pedal is the only job for me. It doesn't effect the tone of your instrument or give any hiss... I'd recommend this pedal to anyone.

Excellent Volume Pedal

I spent ages reading reviews to find out the best volume pedal for ambient swells and this one came up tops a lot of the time.

Since purchase it has been sturdy and taken quite a bit of abuse on busy stages.

There have been no incidents with the string that connects to the interior of the pedal which I have read about and it hasn't broken.

The contour of the volume increase and decrease is very pleasing for ambient swells and you really feel in control of what you're playing.

It won't take up huge amounts of room on your pedal board unlike some other volume pedals.

I haven't noticed any 'suck' of tone but I do not use the tuning out which is where some loss has been reported.

All in all this is a great pedal and would recommend it to anybody who is in the market for a volume pedal.

Brilliant

I bought this as I was constructing a new pedal board and was sick of using the volume pots on my guitar. It's of very sturdy construction and it's a very responsive pedal. I've not had any problems in over a year, and it's been used A LOT!
