worth it

saved me the trouble I had with low budget midi-usb cables, so far works well with relatively low latency

Reliable

On my macOS, it just worked, no problems. The cable is high quality, too. The only negative feedback I have is that the two MIDI ports are labeled "1" and "2", but in a very tiny font that is hard to see. When you're using both ports on the computer, sometimes you have to select "1" or "2" in your software, and finding the tiny number physically on the cable is a little difficult. But this is just an aesthetic complaint. Operationally it works perfectly.

Best MIDI Cable Out There

I wanted to connect my microKorg Synth with my MacBook and needed a MIDI cable to play notes through my MIDI keyboard.

Easy to use solution

Provides a stable midi connection, works out of the box with windows or mac. For some reason it shows up as two different devices, but it wasn't hard to figure out that one is for input, and the other is for out. Keep that in mind. Also, the two plugs are almost indentical, it's a bit hard to differentiate between the in and out, but you can mark it with something.

Simple MIDI solution

I have some old synths with retrofit midi in. This works great.

Nice MIDI interface

I have no complaints about this MIDI interface: cable is braided and long, connections are sturdy, there are no note dropout and it even works without powered hub with iPad Air 2!

Perfect

This works 100% as described, I use it for old midi gear with no usb port. Mostly my Boss ES-8 Loop switcher.

I needed this to get Windows 10 to talk to my "antique" Edirol UM-550.

It worked and that made me very very happy.

im using both heads as midi out. works perfect. would have been better to have an indicator that shows the head number or signal lights on each head.
