Very good for bedroom disco

Red, Blue, Green that's it what I use this one for. If you start with color mixing you noticing the RGB leds on the wall, mirror ball. Beautiful red, blue and green though. Between other lighting, like scans, real PARcans this is a nice addition. And cheap. Only the DMX mini jacks is a minor thing that I'm worried about. Made the cables myself with Neutrik plugs.

Strange thing

Seconds after connecting to power, the red diode died and the lamp went straight into a "G B" mode. The merit of the product is that it resembles nothing.

Cant find any faults at price

Hard to find any cons given the price.

Used in a living room to hit a 30cm disco ball from a distance of about 5 or 6 meters. It's set to go through all the colors slowly, I have dip switches set to 2 and 7. It's bright enough for the small 40 sqm room.

The only con is my own fault. I did not realize there was a IR remote version and for 2 more euros that would have been a nice addition.

Great for home use not so sure on a large stage

Got these for my home Karaoke. Great for that, however plastic construction suggests they are not tough enough if gigging

Powerful and portable

Extremely powerful for such a small space and low W usage! Very useful to spot mirror ball or DJ console etc. Very nice also the DMX strobe feature, neat and precise dimmer.

Great light

Small and effective. Ive had them for some time now and I like them a lot. Ive used them for the mirror ball and directly on the floor.

For the mirror ball you need to get it rather close but that also means that you can have it below the ball and fill the whole globe.

Mic works nice and the programming is easy for DMX or setting them as a slave ...

Very narrow

Didn't realise how narrow the beam would be. Good light, in principle, but it would need to be positioned at the far end of a large hall to be used as a spotlight on a person or instrument.

Great little DMX pin spot

Small, light but with a not 100% built quality with the plastic cover. Let's see how they will be after more than just the handfuls gig I have used them on so far...

Does the job very nicely. A little hassle with the 3,5mm DMX, but not really a problem to have a converter if you keep them last in the chain.

The different colours are just a little out of focus, not too much. Works great on my mirror ball, up to even 15 meter. Great deal for a pin spot with DMX.

Not that useful for mirror balls

Pros:

Includes short DMX cable for daisy-chaining

Really a projector, with very sharp beam edge

Great for mass installation in fixed locations

Cons:

Need to buy one/two DMX adapters per daisy-chain

Not very robust, not recommended for gigs

Very limited use with mirror balls

Review:

These are great value for money if you need a small fixed spotlight with changeable color. Its low price and power consumption makes it useful for mass application, e.g. in curtains. Its light output is quite impressive for the size and price.

Note, however, that the three colors (RGB) are emitted from different parts of the lens, due to a simplistic optical design. This means that if you light up a mirror ball with white light, you won't get white reflection spots but for each mirror there will be three separately colored spots. Therefore, this armature is only useful for lighting mirror balls in pure red, green or blue color!

And when illuminating for instance a wall with white light, expect color fringes on the otherwise quite sharp spot. This can be remedied by opening the enclosure and shimming the main lens, but this mod is definitely not for everyone (and probably voids the warranty). A pity they couldn't afford focus screws.

Lightoutput and optics did not meet my expectations. The different colors are projected a degree separated. Cold soldering in one of 4 fixtures, leading to the LED dim out from time to time.

Basic but effective..

It's a bit weak but works well with a disco globe!

Not really a spot

I'm not entirely sure what you would use this light for. It's not powerful enough to use as a spotlight even at close quarters. It's got RGB colour mixing so you can get a good range of colours from it but if you use it in conjunction with any other light source then it will be drowned out.

Eurolite LED PST-9W TCL DMX Spot?

Light output is too weak to make an impact on live jobs. I wanted to use them as table pin-spots. Great however if you want to simply use at home or a very small party.

Poor plastic construction, not very rugged, minor repairs required to electrical jack component (namely 'threadlock' required for jack nut), very noticeable colour fringing.

Value for money

Excellent quality and low cost. The lighting effect looks really cool filtering through dry ice or without but in a darkened room. Brilliant. Ive used them at numerous gigs and they create great coloured spots to highlight an individual. I use them in small venues and without a controller so I set the channel switches and let the lights do the work to colour change as required. Lots of options to choose from and a great value product.
