Perfect

Tight beam, lamp lasts forever... I think a led is tighter for a mirror ball application but I use this for theatrical emphasis on small props and there's nothing better.

Not that good

If you are buying this for your glass mirror ball please dont since this do not light up your room, it maybe gives you about 20% of the needed power even in a pitch black room. This is mostly for creating an ambient mood. The metal chassis is very well made, but the light part inside looks and feels bit cheap.

very uneven, patchy hotspot

I thought the trusty old incandescent lamp would have the right punch for the mirror ball, but I was wrong. The included lamp is pretty weak, and the spot looks very patchy and uneven, which is then reflected into every "dot" on the wall. It is what it is - old technology. I would recommend going for the LED pinspots if you can. On the other hand, if you like the vintage look and the irregularly shaped blobs on the wall, then this is right for you!

Provides a nice warm light. perfect for photoshoot or wedding events

Speechless...this thing gives a nice warm light and i have used it for numerous photoshoots and wedding spot lights for cakes/tables and others.

Great product for low price. one thing its pretty heavy for its small size ..it shows great quality to it.

Decent pinspot

Seems robust enough for normal use and did what we wanted - however we placed some in an events barn and left them up over the winter where temperatures dropped really low so have had a lot of the transformers fail. I'm assuming the failures are a result of extreme temperature changes.

Great lighting unit

This is a very small and powerful spotlight.

It has a small focal point to light up a small object or whatever you desire. Really sturdy and well built!

Great little spotlight

I don't think you can beat these small no-nonsense spotlights for value and function.

Lightweight and easy to mount. Simple to add colour filters and change bulb etc.

Great value pin spot

I use these to fill out our lighting rig a bit. it might seem an odd thing to say but these are very quiet units. some of my other Par36's make a small pop as the transformer goes to full output. Not an issue if they are just left on but I often run chases. So in summary a robust unit that performs well.

Par 36 Pinspot

Bought these to use with a mirror ball, do exactly as they should

!

They seem nice and bright, and light weight.

Big plus that they come with the lamp already and you can't beat the price!

Great little pin spot

Ive purchased these to add some ambient light to tables for a wedding - i was looking for a light that would be bright, dimmable and not flood the table too brightly. I was also after a light that wasn't heavy or difficult to place or set up.

These pin spots are perfect for my needs and tick all my requirements. The beam is bright and stays tight. There is an even hot spot of light and exactly as a pin spot should be. They are not the best build quality but they are perfectly fit for purpose. The wire on the back is a little short for my liking but nothing that hinders the use of the light. Lamps are easy to remove and replace too.

Coloured glass filters can be added to the front in various colours and they fit easily. Ive not used the spot with any coloured gels but id imagine that the lamp is too warm and would burn through them due to the lack of space - they could do with a gel frame attachment on the front to allow some space to stop the gel burning through

All in all these are excellent spots and work just as well as more expensive versions.

Definitely worth the money

Perfect light for different locations

The Stairville Pinshot- set is a powerful set when it comes to light for decoration or to create a special mood for parties, weddings oder in rooms. The situations when I used it was a wedding and different parties. On the wedding a placed them around the room an the floor to spot up on the wall. It looks like light pillars and makes a wonderful romantic mood. And because of the being this light and small you can easily put the all together in one Box. The other reason I use them is that their power consumtion is very small, so 12 of them on one line is no problem.

Rugged little unit

There's not much you can say about a pinspot really. All you really need to know is it is great value for money, being well constructed and solid and should withstand life on the road quite well. As I say, if you want pinspot, don't spend a fortune. These are great for the money
