Awesome sound and flexibility for the price

I'm using this passive box as a personal monitor for my bass, using a powered Kemper Profiling Amp.

I needed something light but powerful enough to carry the fundamentals of a 5 string bass tuned down to A - not an easy job.

This ZLX 15 is very sturdy, surprisingly light, is easy to carry and place on stage and so far has taken live abuse fairly well !

Because of the 15inch woofer + tweeter combo, you might be missing a bit of definition in the higher mids, especially if playing in higher registers but it handles down-tuning very well.

Little detail - make sure you have a Speakon cable available, with the appropriate end for your amp (jack in my case), as the ZLX only accepts Speakon.

High Quality PA speakers

These passive PA speakers are being used with our powered mixer and additional power amp for rock'n'roll gigs of up to 250 people in small to medium-size venues.

They are capable of putting out plenty of sound power for vocals.

The ZLX 15s are modern in design and look good as well as giving high quality sound.

At 18kg each, they are not hazardous to mount on our speaker stands.

Highly recommended.
