Evans 13" Genera HD Coated Snare

Wonderful drumhead

Made my Pearl 13"x3" piccolo maple snare drum sound so clear, dry and cutting. Love it.

Great Snare Head

I have a friend that had this head on his snare and I have to say it looked and sounded great with no sign of wear and tear after having it on a while, so I just had to get one. It has a nice mid tone sound that has a crack like a shotgun blast. I matched it with the Evans S13H30 Hazy 300, another great reso head. So it is very nice on the ears. The thing that I found with this head is that it is very easy to tune, it only took a few minutes to get the kind of sound I was looking for out of the drum.

If you do not own this head yet and are in the market for one then seriously consider this Genera HD, you won't regret it.
