Great Sound

Durable and powerful sounding!

Boom shake shake shake the room

Love the sound of this head!

It's a single ply, so I put a little dent in it while stretching it out, so be careful with that. (That was a bit silly of me) I use a Vater Vintage Bomber Beater, and the sound I get, combining it with this head, is stunning - low, precise, but boomy and powerful. Its just a joy! And the muffling ring system makes it really easy to tune and control. Hardly anything needed in the bass drum at all.

I definitely recommend this head!

My Favourite Bass Drum Skin

I'm a Remo Pinstripe fan and use those on all my toms, but this is the preferred choice for my bass drum. I like a very low frequency thump, with a medium attack and decay. Nothing else I've tried works as well for me. The included deadening rings allow me to choose different options for small bars where reverb can cause sound issues, right through to large open air stages where I need to open up the sound more. Very durable, highly recommended.

My personal choice number one as kick head on my bassdrum. Good tone on every tuning i have used and fits perfectly for the rock and heavy music i am playing. I will continue using these heads as i am satisfied with the sound and quality and price they provide. I can recommend these to every other drummer no matter what your genre is.

Great all round bass drum head.

This is a very easy to install bass drum head, with a good sound.

The dampers are easy to install and change as required.

Good responsiveness with a deep booming sound, ideal for funk and Jazz fusion playing.

You'll never go back!

I've used these a few times and dipped back into other heads, but I always find myself back to this particular one more often than not. Great control of overtones. Depending on your drum, you could almost get away without dampening inside the drum. Delivers great punch and focus, has made an instant difference to my live sound and an easier kick drum sound to work with in the studio. Can't say enough good about this head, an excellent investment.

I love these bass drum skins. Great fat tone straight out of the box. Currently my favourite bass drum skin for my Mapex Saturn. I've tried most others but this just has the best all round tone providing a lovely fat tones with plenty of slap / click. I have tried these on a Masters Custom kit and it really didn't work well, I don't know why, maybe it was my tuning ability!
