Nice for tight Metal

I am playing this on a Sonor SQ2 BD.

Absolutly lovin it. My trigger works pefectly and with the dampening rings the senitivity of it is easy adjustable.

Nice head

the muffling is very effective and the way it is done doesnt reduce the musicality of the sound , also the head does what it is created to do as a non-clear head (has a characteristic sound) and the quality of evans is not to be questioned at all , the only problem would be the hit marks on the black surface which can be easily avoided by using a protective sticker , its worth the style though

One of the top drum heads out there!

This drum head can be really versatile. Suitable for rock, pop, funk or fusion stuff. The tones of the bass drum come out warm but not too bright, out of my Pearl masters maple 22". Unfortunately the plastic holder of the ring has broken after a couple of years and it wasn't playable after that.

It's dark and I love it!

This drum head sounds very dark and concrete, with low and powerful punch, just the way I like it to be. I also prefer black color drum heads for bass drum.

Good for those who play rock music.

Evans Emad 22"

Very nice head, it goes well with my matte black kit. It gives great feedback and makes double pedal use much easier than the stock head that came with the kit originally. Overall I would recommend it.
