Great heads

I use them all the time on the road. Thay last me up to two months of constant playing just fine.

Great Sounding Set!

After trying out many other, these are the best sounding heads to me. You also get great durability with great tone. Definitely will buy again.

Not suitable for hot weather

The rings didn't hold the heat of the summer and it all fell off just after a couple days I installed them.

The sound is amazing

Excellent drum heads!

This are by far the best drum heads Ive used for recording and live performances! Stands the abuse of hard hitting drumming and very good control of unwanted overtones!

Great upgrade to stock heads

I replaced the stock heads on my Mapex Tornado with these. The stock ones on the Mapex Tornado were Remo UC single ply heads. They didn't sound great. These heads give plenty of attack with little sustain. They've really added a more controlled feel to the drumset. They sound great!! I had to.use a bit of moongel to control over tones but I think that might be more down to my drumset than the heads. I'd highly recommend these.

always in tune

I use ECS Clears foe studio recordings and live gigs on all my drum sets .... they sound great for all styles of music except Jazz, and stay in tune over a long period of time even after hard battered gigs .... fully recommending these drumheads.Peter

Evans EC2S

I bought this set for a DW Performance Kit.

This DW sound much punchier and clean.

This heads control very nicelly the Overtones and the sound still get big and clean.

They are very quality made as expected from Evans.

Super Heads!

These are exactly what I was looking for! I decided to treat myself and re-skin my kit no too long ago, the first time since I bought the kit. After about 11 months the stock head just weren't what they used to be. (I had already changed the snare head out a few times) These heads have all the attack you would ever want, without the long sustain you don't. For me, mostly playing a broad spectrum of rock and metal, these heads are perfect, They're by no means quiet, rather they punch through the other sounds of the kit. I have used them in a live setting without mic-ing them up! As far as tuning goes, I used the Evans tourqe/tension key. I had an 8 piece kit tuned in a matter of hours. I'm really happy with these heads!
