Still the best

What should I say... Evans since 14 years on my drums.

They are perfect.

Evans!

Evans drum skins are top quality. The sound is perfect, they are durable and last long. I would highly recommend Evans over and above any other skin brand.

I recently switched to Hydraulic batters for all my toms; the EC2s are a classic looking and sounding clear tom batter, but the hydraulics for me are a lot rounder and fuller sounding. They decay quicker than the EC2s clears, so for my taste hydraulics are perfect. But, if you prefer longer decay and a slightly more complex set of fine overtone options in tuning, then I couldn't recommend the EC2s skins more.

Proper good old Evans.

My favourites by far :-)

Great Sound

The sound from the Evans EC2S is superb. Has its own natural dampening different from other drum heads. The tone is also quite natural and deep. I highly recommend.

Great set of drum heads!

Really controlled sound without much overtones! Really easy to tune, too! Really happy with this purchase!

The classic, good value for money!

I bought those as replacement on my Sonor 3005 fusion kit. It really made a huge difference compared to the stock (and totally worn) drum heads. I recommend those for allround to pop/rock use.

Studio setup

Used it on a 10/12/14 high-end drumkit. Sound has a focus, with a fat tone. But in my opinion it kills to much of the overtones. I want to be more in control of that, and with these heads I have no options. But great if you like the focus/fat sound.

Evans do it again!

I've long been a fan of Evans heads but lately I've had my eyes set on trying different brands like Remos or Aquarians. That was until i heard these ec2's with the new 360 bearing edge.

Absolutely phenomenal, easy to tune and make my entire kit sound massive. Fallen in love with Evans yet again and can't see myself using any other heads.

Even some of my more hardcore Remo fans have been turning their heads towards Evans with interest.

Awesome skins

Although I haven't had a chance to try them out in anger, as it were, early indications are that they sound really, really good.

They sound warm, full rounded with no buzz or excess ring to them. I love them!
