Evans S14R50 14" Snare Resonant Head 5-stars Reviews
Best reso for rock music!
I never tried a thick snare reso before. I've always played Ambassadors (which I believe are thinner) but I'm in love with this one at the moment! It's got great response, I feel the ghost notes are a bit more controlled and, overall, rimshots suond fuller with this one. Definitely recommended if you play rock/pop/metal music!
Excellent
accordage aisé et bonne tenue
harmonique faible
Great Redo Head
Very happy with this product
great drum skin
My experience of evens Heads is that they are beyond easy to tune. I remember having this head up to a tight, even pitch very quickly.
The sound achieved in every recording session has been wonderful and open. i now always record with a snare side mic, and in some cases prefer the bottom signal to the top.
great
i love evans especially their quality and craftsmanship and that is evidenice in the sound of this reonant head! I am a lover of all things evans and i would recommend you do the same for quality and sound!
Great resonant drum head
This is a lovely resonant head for a snare. It's a little thicker than a standard hazy style resonant head which means it doesn't have the "zip" or "crack" of those heads. I actually prefer this and I think it creates a more even and focussed sound, especially if you don't like your snare drum too bright.
Solid Resonant Head
This is once again a great product by Evans! I combined it with the Genera Dry HD Drum Head for my snare drum and it simply sounds awesome. Short and easy to control sustain but at the some time very aggressive - GREAT!
