Amazing product
Tons of options, can be applied to any kind of recording/instrument. Sound quality is top level. Easily recommended for studio or stage use
Sublime sound
Works straight out of the box. The presets are high end and i’ve yet to find one that disappoints.

One of the best reverbs for acoustic piano
Mixing acoustic upright piano with the amazing blackhole effect and many other effects on this pedal has been so much fun! Having a high quality reverb which can go on for ever was always my dream. Thank you so much Eventide Audio for being fantastic!
Next level effects
I use the Eventide Space as a creative tool to influence music making and as a studio-quality effect that can be used in a live environment. I use it with Moog synth, acoustic instruments, vocals etc.
Pros
Build quality is very robust.
Great, BIG reverbs.
Many algorithms for traditional or experimental sounds.
Very flexible, programmable and customisable.
Cons
Learning curve can be intimidating, but worth persevering.
Experience/judgement needed to tame some of the wilder settings.
Overall
Highly recommended reverb/effects device that feels like it will keep you sound designing happily for years.
Great pedal
Adds a glue to the sound. Balances things and works great in the chain. Lots of options from subtle to extreme manipulation.
Best Value Reverb effect pedal alive.
The Eventide Space is really magic and at this price in a handheld pedal unit its the perfect balance of portable, fun, and quality with more that enough firepower for live and studio use everywhere.
Excellent Pedal
Excellent sound and has a variety of reverbs (8 algorithms), from very subtle to very weird.
This stompbox is sturdy and very rigid.
Highly recommended
Best reverb stomp box out there
I love the Space pedal from Eventide. There is an abundance of different halls and reverbs to fit every need and the sound quality is so good. The Line/Inst level switch has already come in handy on a number of occasions. Highly recommended as are all the other Factor pedals from Eventide.
Best Reverb Pedal
Deep, lush, with endless possibilities, very much to tweak and goof around with. Using it everyday.
Absolutely Beautiful
Presets are a fantastic example of how far the processor can be pushed. Sounds amazing straight out of the box
Warm sound, endless options
First of all, eventide space pedal is my main reverb pedal. I use it in all of my guitar parts when i'm recording or even playing live. It provides great warm sound that you can edit in many many ways and experiment with its ten panel knobs. The quality of construction and sound, the crystal signal, the mono-stereo input-output option are giving to me a unique feeling that my guitar sound is painted by dark and warm textures that are floating into the infinite universe. This pedal is simple to use, just plug it and you're ready to play, but the longer you play the longer you dive into its possibilities. You can choose among 100 presets or create yours among the high quality algorithms it provides. I use the usb connection to upgrade the software of edit my presets on my PC. I use the midi connection to set some extra foot control. You may also achieve the last by connecting an aux switch with a stereo cable.
In conclusion, i'm 100% satisfied by eventide space pedal and i don't think i'll ever use another reverb. Blackhole algorithm is so unique and perfect that is clearly what i call "my kind of sound". So, if your type is quality sound and unique customization, go for it. It will never disappoint you.
Incredible quality of sound!
Love me my SPACE
what can i say, it was the missing link in my rig, mainly modularsynth based.
in the meantime i got me a second SPACE. one is in the masterinsert of the desk for subtle Reverb purposes, one is on 1-2 Aux sends for more radical Reverb and FX purposes.
perfect for my modularsynth !
perfect for older rompler Keyboards/Pianos to get a nice but decent Reverb to that sound.
some people seem not to gel with the SPACE.
Give it enough time ! you have to get the hung for the parameters.
my Tip: probably use at first only a few algorythms.
use one or two.
The jammability of the SPACE is immens ! it is much more than a reverb.
it is FX ;)
happy wiggler cat here
Eventide Space
This is the only unit studio musicians/guitarists should be looking at when it comes to high-end reverb stomp boxes. To be honest, it's far more than a reverb pedal, something you'll only find out after you use it. But trust me, once you hear this, you won't want to use anything else for your ethereal, spacious, ambient sounds. It contains 12 of Eventide's signature reverb algorithms which include the Modulated Echo Reverb and Shimmer effects which most players looking for "the big sound" are searching for. Endlessly tweakable, assignable, and all can be saved to PC or Mac via the USB port (which also allows you to update the unit). I have used this unit on a documentary film soundtrack which was broadcast on RTE National television in Ireland last April. It sounded great. It's a lot of money to drop on one pedal but it's so much more than what it sells itself as. And the sounds will keep you coming back to it.
Earth is in space and space is on earth !
One word : amazing !
This pedal sounds so great. You really got the Eventide pro sound in this stompbox.
There are 12 reverb algorithms : Room, Plate, Spring, Hall, Reverse, Shimmer, ModEchoVerb, DualVerb, Blackhole™,MangledVerb™, TremoloVerb and DynaVerb !
At the beginning, it is necessary to become used to the big quantity of buttons but the manual is very clear.
You can save your sounds and call them back with the footswitches or with a MIDI controler.
It works in Mono and Stereo.
You can use an expression pedal for all the parameters and control more than one at the same time !
