Simple yet effective

Quite good quality of the product which gives you nice user experience while doing it's job as advertised. I recommend!

Nice addition to a Nord Electro

Bought this as an addition to my Nord Electro 6D; I'm using the left paddle to switch the rotary speed of the Leslie and the right paddle for sustain.

Pros:

- nice quality, lays solid on the floor without sliding around.

took a bit of setting up

solidly made, though could do with some kind of anti-slip technology on the underside.

Using it with a Fatar VMK188 controller, had to change the polarity in the MIDI setup to get piano-like sustain action, which is not the easiest to manage (also set up the lh pedal to cc# 66), now it works fine.

Travel is quite short, shorter than the one it replaced, which makes it a bit trigger happy, but otherwise fine.

double sustain pedal

a bit confusing as there are two very similar products which work in a different way. All you really need is a polarity button to use with any keyboard. Anyway.....I use this VFP2-15M with a Roland XP80 and Roland XP50. Not sure if it works with other keyboards, or whether you need the reverse polarity instead.
