Fender is a brand that does not need to prove anything

One of the cheapest option in the category and from a well known brand? No brainer.

Spas za mali bas

Siguran izbor za Mini P Squier. Ne trebate se bojati jer žice stanu na navedenu bas gitaru bez problema. Solidna kvaliteta koja pruža dobre vibracije.

Excellent, affordable strings for your Mustang Bass.

Nice sounding, affordable strings. One of the few that are long enough for stringing through the body (e.g. Fender Mustang Bass). Recommended.

Good Strings

Bought these strings for a student of mine.

She uses a Fender Shot Scale Jaguar, the 5250XL suits her bass very very well.

Sound:

The 5250XL gives the bass a good round and the big sound. Maybe a little bit too much, these are not sthe strings if you are into slap, i'd put these strings on the pop/rock side.

Durability:

I guess the lasted as much as any bass strings with normal everyday use.

Conclusion:

Not the best but also not the worst strings on the market, for the price they are very good indeed

Nice strings!

I bought the Fender 5250XL Short Scale for my Precision by Harley Benton. What can I say? They fit this instrument perfectly. They are easy on the fingers and they ring out. They also last a long time. The sound is punchy and also can growl by adjusting the tone control appropriately. These strings sound less agressive than pure steel strings. That is what I like about them. I also like the the surface of the Fender strings: Not too rough. Moreover they are not expensive at all! Usually I prefer flatwound strings on my other Precison bass. Unfortunately Fender only has long scale flatwound strings. To sum up, I can say that these short scale strings are worth to give them a try. You won't be disappointed. Very good value for money!

I will keep them

I needed to change the cheap factory strings from my short scale bass

So i was curious if there is a difference when i change to the Fender 5250XL

Now i can say yes, there is a difference, it is a much better feeling for my fingers with the Fender 5250XL and also the sound is better.

There is not many strings you can choose for a short scale, so i dont now if can find better strings than the Fender 5250XL. I think it is not easy to find the perfect strings for a short scale bass. Every instrument will sound different, so my first test was the Fender 5250XL. They are much better than the factory strings from my short scale Harley Benton Bass and i will keep them on it.
