Perfect

Clear and a good balance of cost vs long lasting and giving a good sound

Possibly one of the best in the price range

I use these string on my jazz bass and man, they just last forever. I play bass about 10 hours a week and they barely show signs of being used.

They are my absolute number 1 pick for bass strings, especially when considering the price.

Does what it says on the tin...

Got these for my beloved, ancient and worthless Encore Coaster, and holy **** they have really brought it to life. Big round sound as you would expect from Fender strings, perhaps even a bit too bouncy, but not complaining. Great brand, great strings - ideal for P/Jazz basses.

Great bass strings for the allround player

Fair price and durability. I use those for blues, rock and some funky tones.

Ok cheap string but not my favourite

I got these strings for a P-bass. They are very similar to D'Addario XLs (in fact they're manufactured by D'Addario for Fender) but with a bit more powerful low mids than the XLs. Which makes all the difference for me. I absoutely detest XLs but I kinda like these Fender 7250s once they're broken in. I don't particularly like their sound out of the box though. Like D'Addarios they sound very clanky. It's not that I don't like bright strings, it's just that these are bright in all the wrong places. Clank rather than crisp.

Once they're broken in (some would probably say dead...) I kinda like them though. They develop this "spongy" sound that I simply don't get with any other strings.

Definitely not my favourites (I prefer various types from Pyramid, TI and Rotosound) but their broken in sound offers something I enjoy on a P-bass.

They last reasonably long. Not the best, not the worst. Pretty much average in that regard. Which is ok with me as I prefer them kinda dead.

They're very cheap and pretty good strings on a budget. Certainly a lot better than certain ultra cheap "in house" brands I've tried.

These strings are also the stock strings on every Fender bass from Squier to Custom Shop so for a lot of people this is how an electric bass is supposed to sound. If you're one of those people these strings are of course an excellent choice. But for anyone willing to experiment: In my opinion there are far better bass strings out there.

Not my taste

I placed them on a old Vantage bass and i really did not like the sound of the string acoustic and electric. They were simply too ?eel? and too much treble for me, i think they would suit better on a jazzbass or so because i think the sound of the string is a bit similar to the sound of a j-bass. In overal they feel alright and they dont have any sharp edges and didn?t stretch a lot.

Pros:

Well lasting

Good quality

Doesnt stretch too much, results are that they wont get dirty in the core

Cons:

Sound

Good strings

Good strings, but they do not bring out the timbre as well as tomastik of DR. But good strings.

Great Fender quality

Have a Fender USA Jazz bass and these are my strings of choice, great sound and very smooth action.

Use these all the time and last for months without going out of tune once bedded in.
