Does what it says on the tin

Affordable, well built, nice sounding bass.

Big disappointment

Having played base guitar for well over 30 years, I am sorry to say this is probably the worst base guitar I ever had.

First impression is that of a well made instrument, but the sound is just terrible. Where is that "low end" that is being advertised? Simply put, this sounds like a cheap tin bucket and I actually threw the instrument out.

I have no idea how a brand like Fender could create a terrible piece like this. Absolutely useless as an acoustic base - no sound whatsoever, no volume. The playability isn't great, too.

I had a comparatively cheap Benton acoustic base once which sounded ten times better and was better to play.

Big disappointment! Definitely cannot recommend!

Just what I needed

An excellent affordable acoustic bass. Lovely tone, sounds great amplified, very playable and built-in tuner which is a great bonus.

Sound

I was considering Harley Benton bass but pleased with this instead. As well as quality , name and lovely neck the better pick up swayed it. It isn't too accoustically

loud but has a nice tone. However, when played though a amp it really shines through. As with other reviews the tuner could be better placed but It is still visible with a shuffel. can still tune .

Good entry level acoustic base

I use this bass purely for messing around and not in any professional format. It is well built and sounds fine. The action is a little high for me but that can be adjusted. Overall a good entry level acoustic base that can be used as a learning tool.
