A budget Amp With non budget features

First..... I LOVE This Amp,.. This is a very affordable Amplifier with all one need for practice, and bedrom studio guitarists, The Sound is great, the only minor thing i miss is the mid EQ knob,..can´t everything at this pricepoint, the speaker deliver even at hi volumes. The FX is very good and sound mature,...I use this amp in studio With a IR Valeton cab sim Pedal to record out from the phone output in my homestudio, and it sound´s really good, not to forget all the amp types that this amp got wich sounds really true,...I really recommend this amplifier to any one after a practice amp or a first amp you will love it, and the looks is really classic and vintage in a modern take,..=)

Good for average users

I am very satisfied of the price/performance ratio of the product. Can be selected for low and average experience users easily.

Incredible value!

I had first ordered a Marshall MG15GR, but I returned it due to its intolerably high (at least to my ears) background noise level. Besides, it looked as if it was built in a great hurry: crooked screws all over, the carrying handle fitted askew, and so on. Since the Fender Champion 20 was not much more expensive than the Marshall, I expected a somewhat similar build quality, but hopefully, without the background noise. This is why I was very surprised to see that the handle on the Fender was perfectly straight, that there was not a single crooked screw, scratch, or spot of glue residue anywhere. Even the inside of the cabinet was surprisingly tidy! In fact, the build quality is on par with the many times more expensive Fender '65 Twin Reverb Reissue that I owned a decade or so ago. That was a great first impression!

I was even more surprised when, upon plugging in my guitar, I did not hear any loud noise. There was some background hiss, but it felt at least ten times more quiet than that coming out of the Marshall. In regard to the tone, since I always play “clean”, the amplifier voicings were more than good enough to cover my bases. I cannot attest to the quality (or lack thereof) of the “dirty” tones.

When it comes to effects, I only ever use reverb, so the quality of the built-in reverbs had been my primary concern. I was not disappointed. The spring reverb simulation sounds convincing and, more importantly, pleasant. Rather unexpectedly, I enjoyed using the delay and reverb combination the most, as it gave an impression of a very large space. Furthermore, the ability to use the button labeled TAP to set the tempo of the repeats is an excellent functionality I never knew I needed. Likewise, I did not expect to enjoy the vibrato and tremolo effects as much as I did. They both inspired me to play differently and thus come up with fresh melodies in a matter of minutes. My only wish is that it could be possible to use them in combination with the reverb, for they sound a little bit “dry” without it. Better yet, the reverb could be a separate effect with a possibility to combine it with any one of the others. That is my one and only criticism for this amplifier. I loved the looks, I loved the sounds, and I especially loved the incredible value for money that this product provided. Whether you are a beginner or a more advanced guitarist like myself, you will not be disappointed with this product! A Champion indeed!

The features are rocking

I really like the number of features it has. Sound for me is pretty adjustable. I found it quite loud but I guess that's the function of the amp and you always can plug your headphones which is really a plus for me

Great Sound

The amp has a very clean tone when you need it to and has great overdrive with adjustable bass and treble. The gain can be a bit muddy when put too high. It would be nice to have recording capability however it’s not a deal breaker at all for the price.

Overall a great value amp for its price range.

Great Little Amp

This is amp is excellent value for money. There are many different sound settings, from a jazzy style to very heavy metal. I've only ever used it at home, but it seems robust enough for small gigs and has more volume than I would have expected from something this size.

Very good for this price range

This amp is great for a beginner who wants to learn to play the electric guitar. For this price, the quality of sound is good enough and it sounds very vintage. The different voices gives you a good starting point depending on what genre you want to play. You can dial in pretty cool tones, but high gain metal tones are the weakest and tend to sound a bit muddy.

The amp offers different effects like chorus, reverb, flange and delay so you can experiment and try out what you like the best and get familiar with guitar effects without having to spend a fortune on pedals.

This is a very solid first amp, but a bit lacking if you are mainly interested in playing high gain metal tones. It can still do metal tones decently but it's the weakest point of this amp.

Pros:

*Cheap

*Versatile with the built in effects

*Easy to operate

*Good clean tones

Cons:

*Not great at high gain metal tones

*Very sensitive volume knob. I play it in an apartment but might not work if you have paper thin walls

Fender Champion 20

In my opinion a really good amp to use at home. Many voices to change the sound of your guitar and some good FX too.

It can be a hassle to find what suits you best but it is worth the time as you will get some really good sounds out from it.

No need pedals anymore!

I bought this for study and play at home but this amp is like a tasmanian devil.

There any many configurations you can make. No matter how good is your guitar, this amp can turn you in a rock star.

And its inspiring! I play acoustic and classical guitar with it and put some efects... just awesome. The quality of the efects is great.

For the price its a great amp.

Nice sounding amp, my neighbours hate it

I use it for playing at my apartment.

As the title says, it is a bit too loud for playing in a flat, because the Volume knob is so sensitive it's hard to set accurate volume in low levels.

Pros

-Lot of sounds and effects, allowing to get a variety of different tones

-Treble and Bass knobs

-Aux and Headphone jack

Cons

-Too sensitive volume knob on low levels

Nice sounding amp with a lot of features. Enough power for playing some gigs.

A breakthrough in small amps

This amp has got to be among the best for value and quality for a 20 watt class. loud for it's size and what seems like a good quality speaker, which usually lets a small amp down, but bot in this case. At a small gig,I was going to mic it up through the P.A.,but no need -the guitar cut through nicely. Buy one now.
