Gain channel is bad

Clean is amazing, sounds great, but gain loses a lot of clarity. So it’s best for clean uses.

Great for starting guitarist.

Sounds awesome

What a great little amp. I plugged the guitar in and was really surprised how loud it was. The over drive channel is great and sounds amazing, Feels great, well built and the sound quality is spot on.

Good combo for a beginner

The Fender Frontman 10G came in a bundle with a fitting Squier Guitar, hence it was tested with that guitar, so I can't tell what it will sound like with a different set up. But with a single-coil-fender stratocaster-style guitar the combo sounds fine.

The sound is pretty solid, and for practice it fits it's purpose. It can already be pretty loud and still not sound too distorted. Although you - as it is with combos of that size - tend to have a lack of bass-frequences. The built in Head Phone Jack is good addition to the features it offers, and allows bedroom practice.

About Fender Frontman 10G

I bought this product a few months ago in need of a small amplifier for practice in my room. Using a multi effect processor or any other foot pedals as reverb or delay, working with low volume, this amplifier have a very good sound for his size, that of the Fender solid state tone amps. I know a few guitar players have used this small beast even for gigs in different small places. All this in a very cheap price! I recommend this to all the guitar players who are really interested to have one. For the beginners can't be a better one.
