Great for jamming with variation.

This is pretty good for jamming with a lot of different sounds. It, however, isn't of high quality. The build quality is fine, but the speakers frankly sound pretty bad and bassy. On top of that it uses the outdated micro usb to connect to PC for additional presets and audio out (for recording). I wouldn't use this thing for recording though. Since it creates the different tones digitally, you might as well just use VST effects in your DAW instead. That will give you way more options, control and flexibility.

Pretty impressed!

I was looking for a practice amp for domestic use and although the technology behind this Mustang is not exactly up to date I was reasonably impressed with the various features compared with other amplifiers in the same price bracket... that was until I actually received my new toy and spent time playing with it, now I'm rather more than reasonably impressed.

The Pros

This amp offers enough variety for those people who are content to settle with the pre installed sound settings, however delving into the settings allows the user to take full control over the sound produced; just a small amount of tweaking improves many of the presets. It's so easy to set the amp up to get exactly the right sound I've found myself adding to the presets and with 30 empty slots there's plenty of room for experimentation.

Forget the presets and 'tune' the amp using the gain/tone controls, it's really not bad at all especially if you choose the right combination of amp/speaker model!

The Cons

Okay I can't imaging any serious guitarist wanting to use some of Fender's preset sounds, but thank fully they're easily deleted and can be replaced by more practical settings.

The USB socket was outdated when this amp first appeared on the market; why didn't Fender do something about that?

Overall I'd recommend the Mustang LT25 to anyone on a limited budget or beginner guitarists for home use.

Good amp, maybe a little overkill for beginners

Loads of functions, good sound (not extremely crystal clear but very clear), footswitch function, backing track etc etc, Fender Tone for Desktop although you cannot import presets from rumble or mustang gt series. In general good amp good quality good build but little overkill for someone beginning.

Great amp for beginners to find what they like

I bought this amp last year as a first one. Initially I was overwhelmed by the amount of settings it has but quickly found what I like and stick with it.

That is my suggestion for beginners like me back then - pick a blank preset and experiment with the different amps. Do not add any effects just yet. - find your amp, feel the difference and then experiment with the rest of the effects.

It has everything a beginner would need. I never felt I was needing something more.

Build quality is great

Great value

The sound is very nice, not all the amp models are that good in my opinion. But the vintage ones are pretty accurate as far as I can tell.

I bought it for bedroom levels and it works fine for that.

Great room modelling amp

As an intermediate guitar player here and new to the electric world I was looking for a room amp preferably with a few on-board effects. Just go for it! If you're on a budget and looking for a well-rounded amp to get your practice going, this is perfect for it

It's a Fender Amp

Really good practice amp for the price. Extremely worth it. Sounds very nice for the Wattage, good presets, TONS of options via Fender Tone Desktop App.

Only downside is for this model Fender Tone only works from a computer. With upper mustang models you can use your phone to easily connect and change/make tones.

Everything is ok, except working with nobs. I think it would be better to make it like in neural-dsp, where the physical nob have no "value" pointing to.

But instead when you touch the nob, parameter "jumps" to it, but not making just slight plus or minus to the parameter in the preset.

great practice amp

It has very good sound for a small 25w amp and it's pretty rich and diverse. It has 30 presets covering the wider known styles and 30 empty slots to store your own presets.

Interface is pretty simple and smooth, you can figure it out without a manual and it's highly customizable, but not as customizable as a marshall code25.

Fender build quality is pretty much there and as you can guess, it's always prettier in person than in a picture. Would recommend this for a beginner that's trying to learn and find their sound and style, but it's also good for an experimented guitar player that wants something portable and with range to practice on.
