Nut problem

Had to return the item because of the poorly finished nut lines. String was getting out of the nut slot whenever I bent the string on lower frets. But it's a great choice for lower budget. Will buy again.

Bridge pickup is not working

the guitar just arrived today, bridge pickup is not working at all. All Silenced.

also pickguard is assembled so badly. there are big gaps between body and pickguard. Even my squier affinity has better quality in that sense.

Fender Player Series Stratocaster

Nice guitar, not very nice paintjob, but only if you look very closely. Pickups sound great in my opinion, potis and switch feel very nice too. Nut wasn't cut very well, so the low E and A strings were buzzing alot whenever I played powerchords, yet it was fine with softer stuff. Still I'd rate it 4.0 / 5.0, the positives definetly outweight the negatives.

Would I buy it again? Maybe, idk

My high school dream

I was dreaming of this guitar since 20 years or so. Now I have it. Beautiful quality, sound and build. A+

Spectacular sound and value for money!

Having limited myself to heavier styles of music greatly featuring high gain humbuckers and gain through the roof, I've skirted around buying a Strat for some time. In the last few years however, I've broadened my musical horizons into more of a Bluesy territory, bought this guitar, and let me tell you... It sounds incredible!

Out of the box it tunes beautifully, the intonation is solid, and the stock hardware sounds great even plugged straight into my Blackstar/Orange amps without any effects processing. Comparing it to its USA counterparts I can honestly say that for this price there's no better instrument.

If you're on the fence about pulling the trigger, don't be. You'd be hard pressed finding a guitar that sounds this good at such a price!

Great guitar for that price

It's great guitar for that price. I don't think that there's a big difference between this model and american strat that coasts at least 2 times more. So far I have no complains, expect sound on stratocasters in general is more "soft" than on some other guitars, but I knew it so it wasn't unexpected for me. If you want to know what I mean with that listen to some demos or comparisons. Great offer!

Such a great instrument!

I used to play with a stagg guitar which was for beginners and now i switched to this one. The feel is totally different. In comparison with the other one, it feels like holding a real guitar and that brings me inspiration and joy. The sound is much better and also the quality cannot compare. You will not regret buying one.

1- change your Guitar Strings. I recommend Ernie Ball Super Slinky Paradigm (m usng 9-42 Gauge)

2- buy high quality cable

Good strat if you don't want to break the bank

I have this for almost 7-8 months. I can't say it's bad out of the box but recently i decided to make an upgrade with seymour duncun pickups and another shell pickguard. These are just personal preference.

If you are happy with "hum" noise you can stick to the ones that the guitar comes with, but i'm a more of melodic guitar soloist aka Andy Timmons so...

A phenomenal guitar

Look, Fender Mexico is not that far from Fender California. Mexican Strats are still phenomenal instruments. I have upgraded a lot of this guitar to fit my taste but what I began with still was a phenomenal guitar. Just Google the reviews for this series of Stratocaster and everyone says the same thing: great value for money.

What a guitar!

My son hasn't put this guitar down for weeks. It has really inspired him. It looks and sounds amazing.

Great Value

Alnico 5 pickups, nicely finished neck, pristine finish and excellent playability. Quality hardware and well appointed all round. Does what a stratocaster should do. Very pleased

Looks like a strat, plays like a strat, sounds like a strat

Was missing a single coiled guitar from my collection so decided I needed this guitar. It's exactly what I wanted it to be.

It turned up almost perfectly set up, just had to tighten the springs for the trem and it was spot on. Dived straight into "Long live rock n roll" and fell in love instantly, I've barely put it down for the few weeks I've had it. The white finish is beautiful and not a single mark on it.

If you're looking for a strat at a decent price then this is your guitar.

First impressions are pretty good, great looks, great sounds, some sharp frets here and there, maybe a slightly high action for my taste, but nothing that can't be easy fix.

The colour is great, so properly varnished. The pickguard is slightly more greyish/greenish than the body, but it fits perfectly. It is not "perfect" like the American or Japanese made Fender, but the price of those guitars are double or higher.

Overall, this is very good stratocaster, especially for the money, 20 years ago you couldn't buy anything that good for that money. Nice job Fender!

Fender - enough said

Fender makes the best guitars in the world - and this guitar doesn't disappoint. Perfectly playable out of the box (but I adjusted the springs because I prefer less float in my bridge). Sounds amazing (like a strat should). Plays amazing (like a strat should). Looks amazing... well you get the point.

Player Series is legit

Love it. Sounds amazing and looks the part too. Heads and tails above any other Mexican strat I've played.
