Fender Player Series Tele MN BLK Reviews
Beautiful Neck
amazing build quality for the price. Neck is gorgeous. 100% recommend
Beautiful
For a guy whose first introduction to guitar was with a warmer and smoother humbucker Les Paul, I wanted a different guitar with a super twinkly/distorted single-coil sound, especially for a cleaner indie rock sound, and this guitar really fills it in really well. Plays really well out of the box, didn't need to adjust the action at all, did replace the strings though to D'Addario's for a more complementary sound to the pick-ups.
Though I will say, the pick-up switch cap fell off after only a week of playing, odd issue, but was easily fixed with some stronger glue :)
Bottom line: Need a high quality Telecaster? Buy this!
Amazing guitar for the price.
You are looking for a Telecaster. You dont have €2000+ to so spend.
This player series is exactly what you need. I haven't looked back after receiving mine. The colour range was good but the quality is the key here.
This would suit any professional or amateur.
It's a good instrument if u manage to get a good one
Pros - excellent playability and telly sound
Cons - crazy fretbuzz, intonation very bad out of the box, some blemishes on the neck
I decided to send it back.
Awesome
Best tele I've owned. The Player series are basically US guitars in disguise. I think at this point, you'd be crazy to pay US prices anymore. There's nothing wrong with this guitar. At worst, expect to polish or shave some fret sprout, but that's a quick job. This was the best guitar I've owned. Period.
Solid and well built instrument
I have used this tele extensively over some months, and it is a quality instrument at this price point. A little annoyed when changing strings, as the holes are bored in a weird way that doesn’t let the string pass through easily. Pickups sound good but considering an upgrade.
Great value
I use this guitar mainly at home to play the blues, funk, pop and rock. You can definitely play a gig with it.
Pros:
- Great build quality, it feels very robust.
- Extremely comfortable guitar, the frets are having a good distance from each other and the neck finish is very smooth.
- Simple interface, knobs etc are placed logically.
Cons:
- If you are more into necks that are thinner I would look for another guitar.
Conclusion:
The Fender Telecaster is a legendary artefact with a specific distinctive snappy sound. It has a great build quality. If you are a beginner, this is a great guitar to start with because of its ease of use and simplicity.
Fantastic instrument!
It's a fantastic guitar! Fender Telecaster... what else can I say?!
