I was a bit sceptical about a "smart guitar". It sounded like a gimmick but I've seen some reviews, they seemed promising and I wanted to try. Oh boy, this guitar is a breath of fresh air. Set aside everything "smart" the guitar itself feels good quality, looks beautiful (I got the purple one), lightweight. The smart features are absolutely insane. The guitar having the wireless capability is amazing(although there are ways to make every guitar wireless but anyways). The built in effects are not bad at all. I will definitely use them for all of my gigs, no more pedal carrying for me(except for pitch shifter) I personally haven't had any downsides with the device yet. I think this was one of my best purchases so far

In my 40+ years playing and owning guitars (and I've been through a lot) my new Godin XTSA is without a doubt the best and most versatile guitar I've ever had the pleasure of owning/playing. The workmanship is second to none, the balance is perfect, straight out of the box an absolute delight to play. The Richlite neck is new to me and I was a little concerned ordering the guitar as I had never played on one before but I'm absolutely delighted with it & extremely impressed with how easy it is to play. The tremolo system along with the locking tuners keep the strings perfectly in tune even with the most rigorous use. The pickup system coupled with the Roland GR-55 which I also purchased is a technological dream come true for me. 30 years ago I owned a Boss SE50 effects unit and...

Mooer GTRS Guitars Standard 800 SB

Even without GTRS modeling software this guitar is very well built and can be used along with Amplitube or any other simulation hardware or software. Original tone(modeling and power are off) is good with external DI and guitar combo amplifier. Pickup selector has 5 positions like in Strat guitars. Strings stay in tune for a long time. Tremolo works good. Andriod APP have 11 guitar presets(GTRS, Strat, Tele, LP, ...) that can be choosen by bluetooth and kept in the guitar. All tones are authentic and useful. Moreover you can choose between 40 amp presets from smartphone. Some of them are usefull, some not usefull at all because of too long reverb time for example. You cannot edit presets, so when in manual you read about 51 amp models you cannot choose it separately(only 40 presets with...

Mooer GTRS Guitars Modern 800 BLC

Picked this up for the pure convenience of being to switch sounds & presets straight from the guitar itself for gigs and travelling, and they sound just as good as any pedal effects or VST plug-ins you'd normally have. The guitar itself also is a pretty high quality build. Good locking tuners, really fast neck, nice body contouring, clear noiseless pickups, the battery lasts about 10 to 12 hours, (ALSO, not many people mentioning this, but you can still use these guitars normally without the effects or the battery even turned on, still can played like a normal guitar!) Definitely worth downloading the GTRS App to get the most out of it. But yeah, incredibly happy with this and has now become my proper workhorse guitar in the studio and my music course :)

Love this guitar, colour is gorgeous, fees small being so thin in the body and neck. You can reach way past the high frets due to the deep sculpted in cuts. Find the strumming arm rests in the cutout for the tuners unless you rest the tuner cutout over the right leg when sitting down. It feels small but that's due the the thin body and neck. This makes it much nicer to play. The built in effects and guitar sims are easy to use and sound great. Great for practice just directly plug in headphones and you're ready to play. Built in wireless is very nice, no delays works as good as a wire. If your thinking about buying this guitar, just do it, you will not be disappointed.

Use: I'm using the Zivix Jamstik Studio for composing with virtual instruments. Not being good at piano has limited my ability to compose significantly and this instrument has solved the issue. Pros: - Midi tracking is very good and the software/vst plugin works well - The guitar's body is very small so working in front of a computer desk is easy - Overall playability is good and even the pickups can be split to single coils Cons: - Due to the nature on the instrument the midi tracking is not perfect and small fret noises etc are sometimes recorded as midi. - Tuning the guitar is annoying as separate tool is required. - The finishing of the guitar was not optimal. Some frets are too long and poorly finished. Also the string action required adjustment due to buzzing Conclusions: Despite...
