Does exactly what I want

Easy to use and came with loads of free software and plugins.

Decent Interface

Decent interface. It is worth to mention that the cable supplied with it does not work with very old iPads. So make sure that you wish to use it with an iPad that has the sockets for the Apple lightning cable.

Irritating 'boom' while unplaggin USB

Every single time I plug the interface in or out of the computer it makes a really irritating sound, big "boom" distinctively hearable through the PA. I have never had such problem with any audio interface, neither USB nor firewire audio interfaces. I don't know what it is caused by, but it really drives me crazy. Whether I plug the interface in, or I plug it out, it should not make any sound on the PA until I turn the volume up and make it play from the computer. Also, there are hums and buzzes while the interface is being plugged in. But it isn't the case. I use Macbook Pro '15 (early 2013) and don't have this kind of problem with other devices (as i.e. Traktor Kontrol Z1).

Nevertheless, it works for playing and recording stuff. But plugging and unplugging it is very frustrating. It should have not been like that, I expected higher quality. For this money - it's rubbish.

Good product but useless driver

The driver, which you have to download from Focusrite's website, is hopelessly outdated. It is from 2013 and it crashed when I tried to reduce the latency (Windows 10 PC). It even pointed to the fatal line in the source code! It works fine with ASIO4ALL though.

Good Quality

I use this interface for guitar recording only.

Is very portable, no extern power (powered by USB)... very nice.

Nice sound, quality build

It's a nice sleak design. Easy to use and does exactly what it says. I'm recording vocals, piano and guitar individually,in my home. Lightning cable makes life very easy using iPad for videos! I'd highly recommend!

Focursrite nails it.

A friend of mine got an old saffire audio card, there are a lot of other companies that produce superb hardware. Although its a cheap card, the tone of my bass and synth are very natural with a sweet and warm bottom end. No digital hiss. I also recomend to buy this focusrite with a presonus tube pre v2, its a perfect "home studio starter combo"
