It's perfect! I use it for couple of 500 devices and works with no problems.

Does the job well

I?ve had this for a few months now and it?s held up well. I?m new to 500 series stuff and really just wanted to try some out.

It?s solidly built and gives you some confidence. Seems to power the modules put in fine. I like the jumper switches to link units together internally. E.g I have a preamp going into a compressor in the next slot.

I only have two units houses in it currently, so it remains to be seen if it continues to performing the same manner with more power being drawn. Some people have reported some issues when fully loaded.

One small problem I had was mounting one of the modules...didn?t seem to fit right, but I rather suspect the module than the rack.

Other than that there?s not really much to say...it?s a unit that powers 500 series modules and provides IO. So as long as it does those things and doesn?t fall apart, it?s good right?

All in all a good purchase. I actually wanted to try out the Midas version, because it?s much cheaper, so i can?t really say if this unit is particularly value for money or not. However, it?s certainly cheaper than everything else with similar capacity on the market apart from the Midas.

Its good , it does what it is supposed to do

Good Unit

Perfectly good chassis however some issues with strange resonances/ audio weirdness when using a number of high power modules as it starts to struggle.

However if you are just using fairly standard low power requirement modules I assume this would be great.

Generally great

Looks great, does what it's supposed to, but the leftmost slot is a little bit too narrow for my Neve 511 preamp so I had to put it in the 2nd slot instead.

Solid, easy, no problems

The Bento was nicely packed, and snug. Out of the box it looks and feels great. Units slide into place easily. It is very quiet when running.

Very happy with this unit!

works as expected

Seems like the best value for money 500series rack at the time of purchase. running 3 CAPI preamps and a Elysia Xpressor also all very recommended. got the rack mount after we purchased and now it looks great in the rack.

Great!

Picked this up as I was interested in getting some 500 series modules. Came very well packed in a solid box. The unit itself feels really good quality. My main worry was that the metal frame was going to be flimsy but far from it. The construction is solid and very sturdy. The connectors are good quality and give the satisfying click when you plug a microphone in. It looked good on top of my rack and I've recently purchased rack ears so I could mount it into my rack with all of my other gear and it looks great. Worth the money for sure.

good product

i bought this product rather than the radial, i think i would have prefered the radial, due the the quality,

this product is high quality but some one of the modules would not fit correctly, the unit is finished in a smooth metal finish and is of good bulid quality, im not sure how all the buttons work onthe rear, it would have been good for the manual to explain which it does not, some hook up diagrams would be good, the price was excellent in comparison to the radial, over all this is a great product and there were no power issues when using it, the xlrs on the rear a very sturdy too
