Fulltone CS Supa-Trem2 V2 Tremolo Reviews
What a Trem !!!
Waouw ! That's a trem I've been looking for a long time. Stereo, with the possibility to set its phase output. Warble has an amazing sound effect. Built is solid. What could you expect more from Fulltone ? Worth the pennies.
Best tremolo i ever heard
In my search for the best tremolo i could get, i analysed the pedal board of a famous guitarist that plays on a Late Night Show Band because i loved his sound. I saw he used an original Supa-Trem so decided to buy a Supa-Trem2 Jr. and was flabbergasted with the quality of the sound when it arrived. So, and when i started to play in stereo with two amps. i made the obvious move - to buy the Supa-Trem2 v.2! What an unbelievable device - you have to hear it to believe it when you use the pan function. Oh, and it works at 9 or 18 volts for more headroom! Pros: Strong, handbuilt, Professional feeling and sounding pedal; amazing stereo pan effect.
The mothership
I'm a bit of a trem hound and I own quite a few, but this one has taken a permanent spot on the pedal board. Pros: - Build oozes quality. - Great and pretty diverse trem sounds. - Stereo panning adds a unique dimension to your sound. - With the stereo ins and outs, I'm actually using this as a replacement for my old signal splitter, my buffer pedal AND my clean booster pedal -- it will do all those jobs separately AND simultaneously with a twist of a few knobs. I have this pedal in the always-on position and just tweak sounds on the go. Cons: - Not the cheapest tremolo around and I was torn between this and the regular Supa-Trem, but I'm very glad I went for it; if you consider you're also buying a top-notch signal splitter, a stereo panner, a buffer and a booster at the same time, you're getting a lot of bang for your buck and you're actually saving room on your pedal board. Conclusion: loving this thing!
