Fun Generation Key Stand Reviews
It's ok
For the price it's ok but if you are looking for something more robust I'd not consider that one.
Wobbly and sketchy manufacturing
As soon as I started handling the individual pieces from the box, the coating on some edges started to come off. Building was quick, but one of the screws didn't want to go through. When looking at the hole, the perforated piece of metal was still attached inside. Tried to pull it out, but it was jagged and pointy so avoiding to cut myself I pushed it inside with the included Allen key and finished assembly. On the narrower positions it wobbles a bit, but on wider positions or on top of a carpet it is enough for what I bought it. Wouldn't buy again but good enough to not bother with returning it.
Good
Good quality stand, nice material, works as needed.
Perfect stand for a pocket money price
Another downright bargain, you honestly can't loose at these prices...
I've even sat my Korg SP250 on this stand, and it's still rock solid...I really can't fault it... highly recommend to all who need a cheap stand that will not let them down ..
Is light weight a quality or a shortcoming ?
I needed something very lightweight, quick to mount and easy to store, with as small a footprint as possible, and this was it. It is surprisingly stable for its light weight. A very low price is of course attractive too, but I must say that after about a year, the knob (or handle or however you call it) snapped, its spring sprang out the window and the whole thing went to the trash. Well, I won't complain. For such a low price, I purchased two more, so I'll always have a spare. And I'll be more careful with the handling.
For an affordable price ok quality
this is the product I would expect for this price. revelation is not there, a little low, not super stable, but fulfills its function
good price for this quality
Simple and efficient
Good price and value. The stand is not the strongest in the market, but it accomplishes its job with most keyboards - I use it with an Arturia MKII 61, a Yamaha MX49, or a Korg Minilogue, and it is totally stable while playing.
It has a button instead a thread/bolt to fix it in the position - I found that super convenient and make it easier to set up the gear.
Normal
The key stand use with midi key Carbon 49. Stay normal, Good material.
Mind your fingers!
The stand is fine, does what it is supposed to do - but the adjustable height lever can be difficult to move.
Works just as intended.
Its really simple, works with some heavier stuff too.
Only for home use and small keyboards
It is an ok stand for the price you pay. Recommend not to use on the road and not for heavier keyboards. You need to spend a bit more for better quality
More than expected
I have bought it to have it at home. So, I am talking from that perspective.
The quality and stability is good enough. The lock system is simple but effective. Comfortable and very light.
I am using it with a Roland Gaia, and with a wood plank to hold a Novation desk synth and the Launch Pad, and no problems at this moment.
Great!
Very strong and portable.
The best
Was really fast delivery And good qualit.
Serves the purpose
I bought it for my friend. He is satisfied with everything. A little lightweight, but good enough for amateur pianist. Dont put too much pressure on it, because it is not made for whole body weight.
Nice key stand for lightweight e-piano
Nice key stand for lightweight e-piano. There is a slight backlash and the need to adjust the angle with light pressure
Reliable
It is quite good for this price tag. I'm using a midi keyboard on top of it and works pretty well. There are no such issues as instability, flawed joints, missing parts, constructing flaws, etc. The only thing I wish it could possess is some king of rubber on the top, so the keybord doesn't slide freely. But nevertheless, it does a very good job straight out of the box. I love it!
Good Stand.
Pretty alright. The "x" tends to get in the way of your legs if you're sitting, but that's to be expected, looking at how it's constructed. If you value leg freedom while playing, you're most likely better off looking for pricier alternatives that have a more table-like stance. Still, does it's job just fine. Would buy again.
Solid
Works perfectly for the intended use.
