I was expecting great playabilty but The neck feels really cramped. Whenplaying open chords within the first 5 frets it's okay but when I do chord inversions or some more complex chords it just feels small and a bit hard to play, at least for me. the look of the guitar is beautiful, but it's so easy to scratch! If you're playing with a pick at least. I can see why some people like this guitar. If there was a gs mini with a regular sized neck I'd get that in a heartbeat. The strings are also a bit on the thicker side for my preference, so that might put me off as well.. Overall I think it's a great guitar but it certainly isn't for everyone, after 2 weeks of forcing myself to like it I'll return it for a regular sized taylor...

The guitar arrived with a high action setup, nothing unbearable, but it had room for improvement. The truss rod was stuck on both directions and I was afraid to force it, but after some tries I've managed to get it loose and now it is working correctly. I've sanded and lowered a bit the bridge saddle. You should look for a professional setup if you are not comfortable doing it yourself. I cannot find any flaws on construction or finish, tuning pegs are very good, fretboard is well finished ( I like the "snowflake" inlays ), the sound, resonance and harmonics are great. I've only tested the electronics with a small amp and the sound seems acceptable, but we all know that proper acoustic amplification will require some good microphones....

This guitar, though not exactly 'cheap', does stand out both visually and sonically. So far I've been using it for about 18 months, restrung several times and really can't find anything wrong with it. The pros that I see: - PRS neck, for those who love it - looks stunning and improves the room - sounds great both unplugged and plugged (playing through Yamaha THR) - build quality is 9/10 (there're some parts that could've been done better inside the guitar but I am nitpicking) - comes with a quality case Overall I am very satisfied with the purchase

I am a fingerstyle guitarist and was looking for a guitar that was tailored to my needs. I have to say that I was surprised by the quality of sound of this guitar. It has such a nice rich sound to it. The pickup of this guitar is also a must have. It allows you to pick up on the percussion of the instrument which most pick ups do not do. Overall I am very impressed with this product. The built quality of this product is good but there are some minor corners that seem to be taken. Overall amazing instrument for the price. This is my main guitar.

I own this guitar for six years. Besides the tone and build, what impressed me from day one was the sustain and the sound of the bass strings. Having owned cheaper instruments over the years, these were the things I was missing. It sounds great powered as well, besides the tone settings, it has the "cool tube" that makes the sound fuller, like being powered by a tube amp. Its sound is not as "full" as a big jumbo would sound like, more "delicate" I would characterize it. I know there are better instruments around, but at this price range I don't think I could do better. Oh, and it is a beauty to look at!

I stayed a log before I've decided to buy this guitar, I watched a lot of reviews on the internet because I wanted to make a good decision, but tell you what, I don't regret a bit that I've bought it. I love the balanced sound of the guitar and overall I'm very pleased it the purchase. I enjoy every moment of playing this guitar and I think that's an important thing. The amplification system is awesome and crisp and one thing that I was surprised by is that This guitar stays tuned for a long time, (Except for rapid temperature change, but that is from the strings not the guitar) also the tuning keys are very precise The only thing that some might consider a pro is that the guitar does not have a built-in tuner. I like it like this because I like the simple design and I've bought a...

I didn't like the guitar when it first arrived, wouldn't stay in tune and just didn't feel right, I was ready to return it . But after a couple of days of settling and acclimatising I'm now just blown away by this guitar. Important lesson learned, always let a new instrument settle before passing judgment. Build quality is excellent as is the finishing. Light but sturdy and so easy to play even with the medium strings. Set up is spot on straight out of the box and the neck and finger board are a delight to play. The sound is balanced and the dynamic range is very good, very sensitive even at low volume. It has a lovely low mid warmth and the top end is smooth and crystal clear. Played hard it doesn't choke at all. Just a joy to play.

I was looking for a smaller sized guitar because I find bigger guitars too cumbersome to hold and to play. I chose this one based on watching videos and reading reviews. I have to say that the guitar did not disappoint. Quality: Out of the box the guitar required setup. The action was quite high especially on the first fret. I understand that at this price point, most/all guitars are not going to be setup perfectly (unfortunately) and that's why I reduce one star from the quality category. The luthier had also to do some fret leveling work. After the service, the guitar is a joy to play and I can't put it down. (I also changed the strings to 0.11 gauge.) Sound: This is not a big dreadnought and it is unfair to expect the guitar to sound like it. Having said that, for its dimensions it...

I purchased this guitar for the light sound, not too much bass and alot of clarity, and that's exactly what it's delivered. The sound is very bright, even when you point your mic towards the sound hole. That makes it great for cutting through the rest of the mix. Setup was good, frets were rounded over and i did no work on the guitar what so ever after receiving it. No complaints on the finish either, the only remark is that in reality, the guitar has a greenish tint to the burst. This might not be noticable on every computer screen or smartphone. Al in al, would buy again if needed. Happy customer.
