Gator Frameworks Mic 0822 Reviews

Perfect...

This boom holds my Shure SM7B without moving or vibrating, never have a problem positioning this exactly where it is needed!

Wobbly

It looks good, nice weight, but the way the connections are made it has a tendency for a slight wobble/loosening. Also very hard to adjust (the handgrip on the main tube out of the base is useless)

Your mic won't fall, it does it's job, but it just feels like for the price the build quality isn't up to snuff

the stand is quite heavy not much adjustability and takes up quite a bit of space wouldn't recommend it

it's not stable enough

Plus:

It's a good stand, the build quality is good, the price is okay, everything looks okay. When you change the angle of the boom it's fluid and stable. Really impressive.

Minus:

The base should have been round instead of a rectangle, because here if you just turn the mic boom a bit on the side (not in the direction of the sides of the rectangle base), it's not really stable enough. I know it's intended to be used this way, but as a table mic stand, I would not buy again.
