The Best Rack of drums

Great Rack!

First time i have used a rack and i was a little nervous - not sure whether i needed to change the way i set up my drums; unnecessary though as this Gibraltar rack is astonishing. I took my time to get the set up right - used a level to make sure each leg and bar was straight and perpendicular. The memory locks ensure i can strip the rack down and put back up with no fuss or concern that my drums and cymbals will be in the wrong places. The rack is well constructed and yet easy to move and carry. The final test came with the first gig. I played as hard as usual and detected no movement from any of the clamps or the rack and within minutes of playing i had forgotten i was using a rack for the first time. An added bonus, my drums look great on this rack.

Gibraltar GCS-450C Road Chrome Rack

Fantastic quality and easily good enough for my 8 piece high end e-kit. Quality clamps, nice finish & highly recommend. I use it for my 7 piece Pearl BLX acoustic kit with is a heavy Birch 80's style kit with concomitant tom depth (power tom sizes) and it handles these weights no problem. Very sturdy-lasts... well...forever...Nearly!

I have even used this rack for keyboard set up & with some pipe added on as a percussion rack; it easily doubles as a gong stand with some modification.

It has gigged well (set up/pack up every day) with no failures or issues and it is very helpful for using up less floor space than stands at home for practice.

The chrome finish is a very high standard and cuts more neatly with a pipe cutter than cheaper chrome racks I've used in the past, therefore; it has paid for itself time and again!
