Good quality product.

To be honest: I don' t have a lot of experience with guitar cleaning/maintenance products.

I used it on mij LP Standard an on an ES 335 model, and was very pleased with the results.

Very convenient cleaning product

This is a handy and efficient product for use on nitrocellulose guitars. Though it may not offer a very efficient cleaning on guitars with other finishes, like polyurethane and satin finishes, its fretboard cleaner and its metal cleaner are very convenient and useful. Though slightly watery, the fretboard cleaner works well and is just as effective as lemon oil. The metal cleaner is slightly abrasive but works well if you follow the directions. The cloths are very nice quality.

A useful addition to any serious guitarist's arsenal.

Good affordable kit for guitar maintenance

Would give it max rating if it had more options for other types of finish and neckboards.

How did I ever live without this?

After you use it you'll really notice how dirty your guitar was.

All the elements do their job perfectly, leaving your guitar brand new and much much more player friendly.

The metal cleaner is easy to use and won't leave a mess. The fretboard cleaner plus the little brush will leave your arm brand new and so so smooth. The finishing polish is so good it cleans and restores everything to its original shiny state. Great thing about this it protects against the next wear and tear and it'll leave you mindful to keep cleaning your guitar, because, after realizing how dirty mine was, it really did sell me on the fact that if you don't keep your stuff clean, it'll get ruined faster. The doses are nice, just a few dips on the cloth and ready to use. Will last a good few rounds (maybe 6 or 7). Very happy.

For Who Wanna Take Care Of Here

This is a very useful product, obviusly made Gibson!

In this set we have six items: 2x Polishing Clothe, fingerboard cleaner, metal cleaner, finish cream and a little brush with two sides.

Fingerboard cleaner gives to our fingerboard new life, removing dirt from the wood and restore the softness and fluidity under the fingers (actually I use this product even on the whole neck, for me it is really good!)

Metal cleaner remove the whole dirt and a little tracks of rust from our metal parts, like saddles and frets. It is a little bit aggressive, but the right information about the use are given, this product you can use it togheter the little brush, it doesn't have a long life, but it is a little bit useful.

Finish cream I can't use it on my Les Paul because She hasn't finish, but I use it on my Fender Stratocaster Olympic White, and I can tell that is a really good product, remove the mark of or sweat from the body and give new life to the finish.

We need to don't forget the polishing clothes, really cool with the Gibson's Logo over, are really soft and anti scratch.

it work's wonders all my guitars look really shiny after using this. Only problem is the cloth can have some particles get stuck on metal pieces or strings. Fret board feels great after use.

All 3 products are good and effective. Probably better than buying single products from different makers

Keep upright.

This does what it says on the tin. Not anywhere as good as the Virtuoso brand cleaners, but a fraction of the price and suitable for day-to-day cleaning.

The oil leaks out of the bottle if it is not kept upright. It has removed the bottle label and made the inside of the box oily and slippery.

Good Kit for nitrocellulose finishes

Overall I am satisfied with the product, with the exception of the metal cleaner cream, which becomes layered after a few months of use. Otherwise the brush and the cloths are made of quality materials and seem like they would last for a long time. The actual polishing cream takes quite a polishing before it starts looking shiny, but once it does it stays for weeks, even on non-nitro finishes, by which I was quite surprised! The lemon oil on the other hand looks a bit thin and watery, but once you apply it, it does the job like any other.

Compared with other products I have used over the years, this kit comes at a reasonable prise and includes a lot of things that could be used for a long period of time, provided of course they are used in a small-scale restoration/maintenance operation. However, the bottles appear quite small and the polishing cream (which usually finishes first when you buy a set) might rung quite fast if you are maintaining a lot of instruments.

The only two features that I find not up to the quality level of for example the products of Dunlop are are the cloths and the lemon oil, but in terms of performance they are about the same!

Pretty good original Gibson kit with low price

It's a nice kit that includes a couple of clothes and brushes, ideal for cleaning all the little spaces of our guitars. I only used the fretboard oil so far and it's fine, it does the job. For the price I paid, it's worth it.

Complete package

Superb cleaning kit that has everything needed for someone who wants to take good care of their guitar. The cream really keeps the finish looking great. Think my SG has actually started to look better over time.

Great Value - Great Clean

I bought this set as i needed to clean up an old guitar of mine. This guitar was in need of some love. This set really helped bring the guitar back to life.

The fretboard cleaner really brought the fretboard back to life. Looked clean and as good as new. The little brush is also very useful.

The gibson polish cloths are also very useful and of good quality.

I would buy this set again.

I recommend you give it a try if your guitar needs some love.

Good products but not sure it is really useful

I bought this kit to clean and maintain my Gibson Les Paul Custom and honestly, even though it seems to do a nice job, I'm not sure it is really necessary.

The only product I found really useful and efficient in the kit is the metal cleaner but be careful, it is not suitable for Gibson's gold plated metal part. it will rip the gold plating off.

A must have for every guitarists

This is one of the best cleaning products I have ever tested. Easy to work with and leaves a smooth finish that will keep my guitar (acoustic) shining and nice. It comes with a couple of cleaning cloths and a small brush to you can clean and polish every inch of the guitar. I use this on my EJ200 to keep it fresh and in good condition over the years.

All sparkle and shine!

Great piece of kit to restore my old 60's semi electric to its almost former glory! Over the years, dirt and grime has made its way into the guitar and I thought it was in need of a good clean.

The kit contains everything you would need to get that sparkle and shine back to your vintage gear. I've cleaned my guitar a few times with it and it doesn't leave any residue and people are commenting on how clean my guitar is!

The cloths are exactly what is needed but I find that a small amount of each of the solutions goes a long way. I suppose it depends on how dirty the guitar is!

These products are a must have for keeping your guitar as good as new. The cleaner and oil are just perfect in the amount o fatness etc. The small brush is supergreat for cleaning the frets.
