Gravity MA Goose L Reviews
Stiff neck
Very stiff well made and very strong. Capable of holding more weight than I expected. It is really quite heavy. I have a L and an XL. I found that the L cannot hold the weight of the XL without drooping if you couple them together because they really are very heavy and capable of holding the weight of any microphone. Excellent price and great quality. Recommended
big fan of goosenecks!
they are wonderful and don't disturb my workflow.
I am happy with the quality even though its not top end expensive. I like so much to have a S gooseneck and a size M and L and XL, the alternatives in size are great, each has its specific use.
I wish there'd be a gooseneck that changes size =)
maybe there is such a lovely piece of gear?
simply put, we should all have a gooseneck in our pockets or gig bags or a spare one at home... they are made to serve and make your life easier and do it very well.
Sturdy and solid without breaking bank
Used to hang my led panels with these and they work exceptionally in my use, no drooping and good flex for aiming the lights.
Can't fault it
These gravity goosenecks are great. I have 3 of them no problems so far. Sturdy enough for most mics I'd wager. Probably not for a large diaphragm condenser though unless it's a particularly light one.
Excellent
I have also the smaller units from Gravity and I am very happy with all of them. Excellent quality and correct rigidness
Gra-lity
Gravity-quality: grality
This goose neck is solid. I use it to mount a Sennheiser e902 attached to a Shure A75M at the bottom of the floor tom 16". The feel is like bending a metal. I will choose these over the k&m's goose necks all day.
NB: u need strength to bend it.
Cannot hold mic. Always turn down.
A great asset to any mics locker
Very handy tool for those "hard to reach" places and for podiums with TALLL speakers !
Very tight
Nice tight Goose neck.
Does what you expect
It's both very rigid but bendable, which exactly what you need in this kind of product.
excellent
very useful, exactly what i needed. Very durable and stiff but easy to arrange.
Good
It does what it is supposed to do. No complains. It is sturdy and reliable. Put a heavy mic on it and it will support it.
Love it
I use it with a K&M 237 clamp and an old SM 58 clone on my desk - mainly for Skype calls to be honest - and it works like a charm. It holds the mic in all directions and have not got loose over the months. I recommend it highly.
Bang for the bucks
This Gravity MA Goose L is very strong and enough flexible to cover all my needs. I'm using it as bass drum extender, with regular microphone stand i am able to put my AKG D112 where i want in a bass drum. Also when stereo microphone placing as Overheads on stereo bar very helpful on that too. It can hold 2 x Rode Nt1A with no problem, 2 x Shure Sm57 - No problem and stay in place. From one of this i made great Guitar Cab grabber for cheap!!
Plain and simple!
I bought this item to mount on a bespoke workstation for solo recording projects. Space was limited, so i needed it to be unobtrusive and flexible - obviously!
For me it scores a 5 on each of those counts
Additionally, it is very robust and at just under a tenner - very good value.
I imagine I''ll be using this for a long time and trouble free!
