It has a sturdy construction, stability is great and has a versatile design. Not so cheap but for the quality all-around is with it.

I bit loose.

I had before a 15€ stand so I can't really compare to high quality standard.

It's pretty heavy, which is cool.

But it's a bit hard to get it tightly screwed.

So sometimes it rotates away while singing... and that's get on my nerves.

I am nonetheless rather happy with my purchase.

Works Well

I have been using this stand in my home studio. It is stable and works well, great stand for the price.

Solid feel, easy to adjust.

I recently replaced my main gigging microphone stand for one of these in order to cut down on the amount of floor space used. It definitely helps me have a neater stage set-up. The fittings for adjusting the height, angle and length of the boom are all very secure. You never have to really tighten anything too hard and it still remains in place. I've also recently added an tablet clip stand to my setup and the microphone stand is still just as well balanced and stable.

Once you go Gravity stands you never go back

It's the fourth Gravity stand in my studio. The quality of these units is single to none plus they look amazing - the cast iron foot does the trick. Highly recommend!

A solid and affordable stand

I have another of these Gravity microphone stands. This one is also solid. On most sources I prefer using microphone stands with a lot of mass (sometimes a clip on microphone is preferable).

The pivot mechanism to change the angle of the boom arm is easy and smooth to use. The clutch to change the height of the stand is smooth. The entire stand appears to be made up modular parts that can be taken off and replaced.

Because it is a tall stand, using it at the extremities can start to introduce wobble if it is made to move in the first place, e.g. floorboards are flexing. Beyond this, I can only see the even larger and much, much heavier stands as being more suitable for my needs - at several or more times the cost! I hope to get more of these stands.
