Kick Drum

After struggling with the old stand, this one holds its ground when I mic the kick in deep, I get a clean recording, it has a great grip, I highly recommend it.

Nice mic stand.

Love The Wheel style knob for adjusting the boom.

The legs seem a little short for some heavier mics like big Ribbons. but it has been very stable so far for anything I've thrown at it.

Top quality, unbelievably strong stand

I checked out the video where it showed the guy demoing it standing on the tripod legs. I did the same. It didn't budge. Solid zinc bars held my weight with no difficulty and didn't care. It's quite a flexible stand, and I use it for a kick-drum mic. Allows me to position it easily, with full 3-axis adjustment possible. It's a tad on the heavy side, but that's the tradeoff when you need quality and a stand that just stays put. If the other stands in the range are of the same quality, frankly I wouldn't look elsewhere. Highly recommended.
