Fantastic guitar!

I wanted this guitar for a long time. I was a little skeptical about buying a guitar that I didn't hold in my hands. First the look impressed me so much, but the sound is unbelievable. Best clean I've ever played and when you add dist/drive it's total beast. My dream come true.

I've had this for about a month now. The frets are finished very nice no need to polish them. Pickups height was setup perfectly, Construction is chambered no center block through the whole body - there is a little empty space between Bigsby and strap lock, for my taste it could be even more hollow. I was looking for a really vintage sound something like Bo Diddley but no luck so far. Probably I should change these humbuckers to Dynasonics. Don't get me wrong the sound is great and kinda versatile Jack White type sounds are possible to achieve. This guitar definitely has unique and charming sound. I play genres like blues, r&b, soul, rock, funk and sometimes surf this guitar can handle it but it adds her own flavor. My only concerns are the pots they are 500k and there is no treble bleed mod on master volume knob :( At first I was also very turned off because of fat neck but with time i'm getting used to it. I have very small hands and stretchy jazzy chords are problematic for me. But I guess most people don't buy Gretsch to play jazz and fatter neck can be an advantage for some ;) Bigsby holds tuning very well but it's still Bigsby so it's not perfect - I had to tight the screws on locking tuners they were very loose. No need to change the tuners !!! Most people don't even bother to check if the tuners are loose or tight.
