LP 311B 5" Triangle

I have many of Latin Percussion stuff and they are really great! I needed a good Triangle that it is not a toy to fit my percussion stand and the LP 377B 5" fits great. I built like a tank a the sound is really good. Maybe it is a bit pricy for triangle but if you are looking for a good and professional triangle go without hesitate with this one. There are also the 4" and 6" versions that will get them also in the future to complete the collection. I attach it with the Meinl CLAMP-TRI Triangle Holder. Just love LP!

Wow! This innovative instrument allows one percussionist to perform the function of two! Anything that can be done on a regular triangle with two hands, can be done with only one hand on this one. However, be prepared to spend some time learning how to play the instrument, as the technique is quite different from a traditional triangle. I.e. the position and the movement is more like that of a shaker. As in the title. Not much to say, does what it's supposed to do, and looks nice. The price/quality ratio is okay to me, recommended! But also a different one (the bigger one, cheap as well) if you need several pitches, it could be useful to have a couple different pitches for different recording situations! Good product.

I bought it as a backup a couple of years ago and have been very pleased. I would recommend getting this triangle over the smaller ones if you are teaching students older than 3rd grade. If not, save you cash and get the "Junior" type - I've been using these working with kids.

Bought this as I am playing all percussion parts in an opera performance and need to play triangle quickly followed by timpani, SD etc. It is excellent build quality and has good adjustment ability so you can get the right feel. Great product does exactly what I needed. Maybe a bit on the expensive side.
