Guild S-100 Polara Blk 4-stars Reviews

Amazing sound!

A friend has a brand new Gibson SG, my polara sounds ways better. It has amazing sustain, I mostly play mid boosted rythm parts which sound very deep and cool, but playing high notes also doesn't disappoint.

I've had it for a couple of years now and I absolutely love it.

Lovely job.

Guild S-100:

Lovely finished (awesome paint job, neck etc.), very minor fret problems. Good setup straight out from the box, (except 12th fret vs. flute sound). Only lifted the mics tiny bit.

Not the thinnest neck but feels ok.

Darkish vintage mics, I'd say, since they are straight copy from ones in 70's.

I'll change strings maybe to 11-52 in near future (few hours). Maybe D standard tune

Pots aren't working properly yet and I'd like linear type more.

Overall feels like quality product: 8,5/10 :)
