Value for money

Been looking for a semi hollow in this price range for a while now and after playing this guitar for about 30 mins in a shop, I couldn't believe how cheap it was.

I play it through a Roland Blues Cube and it sounds great. Lots of different tones can be dialed in with minimal fuss thanks to the coil splitting option. I play a lot of blues rock and it suits that style well. Hard ware seems to be of good quality. The more expensive Starfire models seem to have Grover tuners while this has Guild ones. I was initially a little worried about this but they feel really good. Should also be mentioned that the colour of the guitar is a bit brighter than the photos shown on the site here. The black background might be contributing to that.

In conclusion this guitar feels and plays like a much more expensive model.
