Fantastic sound

Just bought this amp and I'm totally blown away with it. The sound is clear and surprisingly loud, I'm using it with a Taylor GS mini. I've recently been in the market for a new amp and tried a few, the Bugera, Vox and Boss etc acoustic amps but have been disappointed with all. This little amp packs a punch and really brings out the sound of the guitar. I've had a joyo bsk 60 for a few years now and can say it's a great amp with sooo many extras, but the Harley Benton definitely matches it for sound. The only gripe I have is the lifting handle is tight to get your hand under. Well pleased otherwise

Perfect and powerful solution for 1 singer + 1 guitar

This is a small amp with great sound. The power has surprised me several times. It is not very sensitive for feed back (placed behind you or next to you). You can dial in a perfect blend between guitar and voice that prevents you from stressing your voice.

Best Thing to improve your Acoustic playing!

I got this as I was fed up trying to balance out my acoustic and vocals through my 50w combo valve amp. This amp[ has improved my acoustic playing and singing as I can get a perfect balance between vocal and guitar. I have performed mini concerts of my songs to friends and family over the net or in my Studio because this has been a game changer. I use it for vocals also with my Laney combo's all 3 of them because the vocals are great. This has improve my singing and my playing for all guitar work not just acoustic. The key thing is its a no brainer switch on and go. no having to balance and EQ and fiddle. Its got great features and the only thing which is an oversight id that it has no phantom power. Because with a condenser mic it really comes to life. I dont know how good other Acoustic amps are but this one is doing the job very very well.

Harley Benton AC PRO 60 - Price - quality !

For its price , it is quite a decent compound . When I bought it , I did not expect the sound of Roland , and this did not happen . But , I 'm happy ! For this money, I'm unlikely to find something better for my tasks. It sounds clean, the amplifier noise is minimal, the processing is quite decent. In general, I did not regret it!

The "Goldilock" zone for acoustic amplifiers

I've been researching an acoustic amplifier for at least two months before deciding to buy this one and I'm happy I spent that amount of time, because otherwise I would have unnecessarily spend a lot of money. The landscape for these products is surprisingly crowded and you kinda need to do your homework.

This amplifier is the "Goldilock" of acoustic amplifiers, meaning it has the best balance between features and price.

So, this is what you get for just about $200:

- almost everything you would want in terms of connectivity. Output connectors to tuner, phones, line out (separated from phones) DI out balanced and, ta daa: footswitch connection and effect loop. If you're just starting out you may not need a footswitch and effect loop right now, but adding these later on would come at a cost, so it's really nice to know you have them packed in. In terms of input connectivity, you get 6.3mm jacks for line in and micorphone, a mp3 small jack and a line in. Second 6.3mm input is balanced.

- you get a decent effect range built in: hall, plate, chorus and reverb, which can be balanced across channels, so for instance you will have the chorus only for mic, if you want, while keeping the guitar channel clean. For more complex stuff, you always have the effect send and receive connectors on the back and you can choose whatever you want.

- 45W at 8 ohms, which is more than enough for rehearsal (I never played at more than 30% volume in my small apartment, to be honest) and I suppose it will be just enough for a real life gig, in a coffee shop or a small venue.

- some small extra perks, like the contour function and the high / low clip on the acoustic line.

The construction feels very sturdy, the sound is clean and it has a lot of volume to it. The only drawback (if I want to be picky, that is) is the handle, which takes a little bit of handling care (not too much space between the strap and the body), but you will get used to it.

All in all, I think this is the best choice you have for beginner / medium level players, on a budget, without compromising quality, or future developments of your guitarist journey.

Excellent amp for the money

The AC PRO 60 is a great choice for the price tag. It is equipped with everything a musician will need. The sound is clear and very well balanced. The amp will cover 80% of an AER amp performance in a 20% of the price. From my point of view is a steal. Downside in everyday use is the top handle which is very tight although good quality and makes it difficult to move it around. A small add-on base with crazy wheels, making it roll like a cabin suitcase, would be a great accessory. Also green color in the front lettering could be something else :)

For the price it's ok

It's heavier than the AER, it is 45watts but is named ac pro 60. What is the deal with that?

The chorus, and delay is 95% useless. Having another type of reverb would have been way smarter. Who needs a chorus and delay you can't set the depth or time?

I wouldn't bother with anything else

This amp has simply got the lot and sounds superb.

I use it for regular solo gigs in bars and clubs and have been able to ditch lugging a PA around. Vocals and guitar (with an LR Baggs PU) sound clear as a bell and plenty loud enough for most venues on its own. If the bar has a karaoke setup, I just run an XLR cable (soon going wireless) from the Balanced Out to their mixer and use the combo as a monitor. It's saved me a ton of time, back-ache and transportation grief.

The only thing I can fault are the small black control knobs which are useless in the dark. I swapped out the 3 volume controls for white ones off an effect pedal and problem solved.

The pre-amp is so good that I even use it in the studio into my RME setup. So clear and noiseless.

I'm delighted with it.

Excellent value for money

I bought this amp because it was all I could afford at the time. However it sounds excellent. Since then I have bought an AER 60 which is lighter and less noisy but for about 6 times the price. Slight downsides are that it is relatively heavy and (like the AER) has no pole mount facility. I strongly suspect it comes out of the same factory as the Tanglewood T6 which costs about 4 times the price.

Amazing value for money

This is a great little amp, very solidly constructed with a great sound. I use it with a ukulele playing with a loud electric piano and it can hold its own.

It is quite heavy, this certainly helps with the sound quality but do not plan to walk with it for long distances.

I also purchased the matching cover which is a useful addition if you will move it around.

Surprise

Comparing to Fenders and Ibanez amps at this price, this amp just stands it's own and above.

Amp can not hide, it's role model is AER, but that is quite all right. It has nice sound, sufficient power and looks nice, is easy to handle, two channels are great, plenty of effects to chose from.

Very nice. it even stands it's own comparing to my Roland AC60.

The AC PRO 60 met all my requirements. Very Compact and sounds great. Price does correspond to quality and this has been proven. Thank you for the excellent product I sounded really PRO.

Great for it's price and power features

Loved this for its features, sound and versatility. Louder than I though it would be. Very few complaints from at this price point. It's "boxey" and heavier than I would like but feels solidly build. I wish both channels had independent FX in stead of a mix knob but for Guitar/Vocalists this would work well for practising, in a small venue / pub or outdoor party. I used it for a new years eve party and it did it's job as a make-shift music rig (mono). I'd recommend this as an entry level acoustic guitar / vocal rig that seems to punch above its weight and price point.

Outstanding value & quality

I have gigged & recorded ( & still do) regularly for well over 35 years. I play mainly electric guitars & for those occasions when I have needed an acoustic guitar, I always plugged directly into a mixing desk. While recently covering for another guitarist, I required/needed a dedicated amp for my J200 electro acoustic. Having researched and physically tried out numerous brands over a wide price range, I decided to buy an AC PRO 60 based solely upon reviews I had read..... It turned out to be an excellent choice.

For the build & sound quality this amp produces, it offers truly outstanding value. It's size & weight make it extremely portable & easily matches & often beats other amps in its category, but for a significantly lower cost......One of the best purchases I have made for a long time.
