Harley Benton B-550 QTB Progressive Series Reviews
Great Bass For The Money
I bought this bass after taking a chance and purchasing a B-650. These are great basses with a great look, and well thought out easy to use features. The electronics are very quiet, so no annoying hum when you're up on stage, and even with the most basic of amps the onboard eq means that a huge array of tones are easily within reach. All in all a great bass, ignore the price tag!
Good starting bass
I bought this bass and had some time to experience with it and I can say that it is a good option for beginners. It is a good build, however, for the version that I bought, I thought that the stripes would be red, instead of dark brown. The strings are ok, but the bass has quite a lot of fret buzz and I will have to look more into it.
Overall, I am happy with it, given that I'm a beginner, but if you want something better and for a longer time (maybe from when you will up your skills), I would go for something in the 250E+ budget. :)
Very happy with this guitar...
Beautiful finish, good sound, excellent price...I could not have asked for more from a guitar for around £150. Delivery was lightning fast too for something coming from Europe as deliveries to Northern Ireland are notoriously problematic.
Great bass
Bought this bass because I wanted to start playing 5 strings and didn't want to spend a lot in case I didn't get on with the change over having small hands... Turned out to be a very good buy indeed... I've used thunderbird basses for years and didn't think I would ever change but I am about to buy another B-550 as a backup for the one I already own... To me they are really that good....
