very good for the price

for the price this thing is great. Very good for practice but if your recording try something a bit more expensive.

Stunning value

I play blues harp and in the style of Neil Young / Dylan. I've played just about every harp on the market and these are the hands-down winners every time for me. I use them regularly for live performances, recordings and just jamming anywhere.

The top and bottom covers are a light but sturdy, pressed, chromed alloy, the blow and draw reeds are brass and the comb core is a hard plastic. All the components are precision manufactured with no sharp burrs and can be disassembled in order to clean them when required. It's solidly constructed and can withstand a lot of punishment. I've had dozens of these harps and I've never found one that wasn't perfectly in tune or had a loose or rattling reed. They're easy to play, have a great tonality and any note up the scale can be bent perfectly for that crying, expressive blues harp sound.

I regularly give them as gifts to friends and colleagues who get a huge kick out of finding they too can blow one (with a little guidance). I once had a room of 8 people from my motorcycle club - none of whom could play an instrument before - all rocking a blues jam after 15 minutes' training. One of those guys now plays regularly in a gigging band, I'm delighted and proud to say.

Because I'm forever giving them away, I'm also delighted that they cost just coins. I honestly can't think of a better instrument for the money anywhere and I take one just about everywhere I go. My advice would be don't buy one, buy several.

5 stars for a beginner

Just learning so this was an ideal first harmonica. I don't know what to expect in terms of sound, playability and quality because I can't compare it to other harmonicas. But this was super cheap and it plays just fine. I'm enjoying learning the blues on this HB harp!

these mouth organs are great!

- accurate pitch and key - you can buy a little mouth organ at the market for your kids for not a lot less than this one - but this is not a toy it's professional in the right hands - great sound - great price - really good to have in your pocket!

very surprised with this item!!

I wanted to try a harmonica and having recently bought quite a few harley benton products from guitar pedals to a lap steel i have been amazed at the bang for your buck these products have. Item exactly as described, very nice sound and easy to get the hang of, i would strongly recommend any of these harmonicas to anyone wanting to try one out before deciding on a more expensive one.

the best budget harp on the market. GIVE 'EM A GO...

If you are looking for a competent harp on a budget this is for you! Free blowing, loud & soulful, these harps really compare with the far more expensive Lee Oskar, or Marine-band. Don't confuse these as just another budget brand. If you lose harps, or damage them easil, have a go with these. You will not be disappointed. RECOMMENDED!
