Great for beginners

Great sound for a fair price

This really is a great set of harmonicas. You get the full spectrum of sound and can practise playing all the different Chords and mulit harmonicas so you can jam and make a full 2-3 chord song.

I Love it. The design is also good compared to it is plastic. But I do miss the sound of a wood designed harmonica.

But super set, especially for beginners =) Thank you!

High quality and affordable

Comes with 12 great harmonicas in a very nice box. Very much worth getting this instead of buying individual harmonicas, and they sound good too.

The best kit for beginners

I bought this kit to learn how to play blues harp and I believe it was a great purchase - great value for the money and the best option out there for beginners to learn.

The best thing is definitely that you get all 12 halftones, so you can play along any song. That's a great way to practice.

The sound is good, given the price (for the same price you'd get two harps of another brand, here you get twelve), but if you'll start using it often you'll probably need to purchase better ones.

The response is good, it's easy to learn to bend the notes, cause they are quite thin.

The finish is not the best, has a bit of sharp edges - because of that my mustache always gets stuck between the plastic and the metal.

Good Set

I bought these so I could add some harmonica to by blues band's sound - I being the singer and guitarist. They were decent, but never really had the right quality to add anything substantial. I had much more enjoyment playing them by myself. The sound as decent and having the whole rang of keys was good for personal enjoyment and composition. I've had them a while now, and they've remained in tune I'm glad to say - because my last harmonica set went out of tune very quickly.

In short these are very enjoyable instruments, but probably won't do for any professional or even semiprofessional performers (such as myself).

For those who want to start on harmonica... Best thing ever!

Bought this set for my brother to play and have fun exploring harmonicas. Since the set has all the tunings available you can easily get them to play to whatever song you wish. Out of the box they sounded quite lovely and still do after nearly 4 years. They are not professional but as a learning instrument it's fairly well priced and great overall quality.

Incredible priced learning harmonicas. All keys available so playing them to your favorite song is easy. Lasts for ages despite the humble value of the set. Recommended for beginners to learn the art of harmonica and are on a budget.

Good enough quality, great value for money

I bought these harmonicas over a year ago and they're still playing well. I use mainly the G, D and C ones, and the others have been relatively untouched but nice to have them there just in case. For the price, I cannot fault them. They are quite light, and my G has become slightly out of tune, but not any more than I expected. The box they come in is of good quality too, and protects the harmonicas well. Overall, don't expect to get top quality harmonicas for this price, but if you're like me and like to experiment with different keys, this is the product for you!

Blues Hamonica set

You can't get better than this for the price. Tuning better than expected. Most scales are covered. I managed to get exceptable sounds from them straight away. Even the box is good quality. Service great as always.

Great set of harmonicas!

Harley Benton generally make good quality cheap instruments, and this set of harmonicas are no exception!

The instruments are housed in a sleek wooden box, covered in a smooth leather-eqsue material and lined with soft velvet. The harmonicas each have a slot so they can be stored together, and the box clips shut for safe keeping.

The harmonicas sound great, and play very easily - feeling smooth and responsive. Everyone who has used them has praised them and asked where I got them!

I don't play harmonica very well but it's great to have a set like this containing every key to keep in the studio!

Inexpensive harmonica set

I've tried all the 'cheaper' brands of harmonicas available and settled on these as being the best of them. The box is wooden, not cardboard or polystyrene, and should last a long time. When I started playing harmonicas I basically bought one each of the cheaper types, in different keys so see what I liked. I've settled on these. The quality is not quite as good as the £20 upwards price range, e.g. hohner sp20, or Lee Oskar, and I may replace ones that wear out with dearer harps, one at a time, but this is a great pack.

When I started I thought I'd only need about 5 harmonicas, A,C,D,E and G, but soon realized that guitarists capo up a lot, and C#, D# etc are getting as much use at the naturals. I've used them a a couple of gigs now, and I've grown to like them a lot. By the way, use a vacuum cleaner on the case when you get it - mine had a lot of loose bits of red pile from the lining inside.

"...Blowing in the wind..."

My son has a crazy interest for any instrument, for christmas it was time for harmonica.

Without knowing a thing about harmonicas, this box seemed to be spot on, all keyes covered, nice box, nice price, great!

Also bought one of these "around-your-neck-harmonica-holder", now it sounds like I'm having friggin' Bob Dylan down i the basement, love it!

H. B. blues harmonica set...

I ordered these for a friend who wanted a matching set of harmonicas to enable him to play in some of our unusual keys. We both listened to them and could not fault them for tone. They work out at around 3GBP each which has to be the bargain of the century....

Every key you want

I am a novice when it comes to harmonicas but when the chance came to have all the keys in one set I jumped at the opportunity. I'm glad I did because I bought them for less than they are currently priced and expect them to rise even more. One word of warning is I would be very careful and try not to drop them as doing so can damage their tuning which I found in one case. Overall a good purchase.

Why use one key, when you can use every key.

These are great, just great in almost every way i can think.

Firstly, these were not my first harmonica. I snobbishly bought a different brand harmonica for about forty euro, a fancy little thing, because i thought you'd get a better harmonic if you splashed out a bit more. I lived blissfully in ignorance until i got these, and they're just as good as the more expensive harmonica i bought, and you get twelve of them, and in a sweet case.

There was no more saying 'hold up, we need to change this song to the key of c so i can play along' no those days were over because i had every key i need waiting for me sitting in their velvet little cubbyholes.

So if you want to play harmonica, buy these. They are a great deal. I'm still surprised that they are such a great deal.

Complete set, great for beginners

The Harley Benton Blues Harmonica Set contains 12 Harley Benton blues harmonicas in all keys. The price of £3 per harmonica is really incredible and unbeatable! Each harp has 10 holes (20 notes). The sound is OK regarding the price, perfect for beginners or allrounders. The case is nice for carrying them around or storing them. Professional harp players probably should choose harmonicas of higher quality.

Cheap harmonicas

This is an extremely cheap complete set of harmonicas and you get what you pay for. They don't quite sound like wooden ones, but still okay, especially for the price. At least, the sound resembles harmonica, which is a great start :-) Good for beginners, not good for experienced players who demand more than this set is able to give.

Suck blow.

I got mine for "stand'by" harmonica's, if one of my quality h'monica's breaks down/blocks up or blows out, but have found these are pretty darn'd good for working with too.

A little more effort is required to make them "ring", but they will "ring" as good as any. Tuning on these is very good too.

The box is super lush, need a carrying handle though! Treat them with respect (blowing or sucking carefully) and they will last a life time.

Superb price as these guys have to stand by their products, they have to be good. They are good.
