Harley Benton Classic Chorus 5-stars Reviews
Overall a very good pedal. Really recommend this. It gives you a very good and split sound that sounds good in many songs.
Very Underrated and Just fun overall
Never played so much clean guitar until I got this pedal.
It helps really set an atmosphere, and its not difficult at all to use. HB pedals actually really helped teach me about effects. A must have for any beginner and even the intermediate and advanced player, will fin it very useful.
It helped me achieve similar sounds to Bowie, Some Simon and Garfunkel and added to some blues distortion, makes a fun combination for some Stevie Ray Vaughan, and B.B. King. Truly an enjoyable pedal and one not to be missed out upon.
AS GOOD AS ANY I'VE EVER OWNED
THIS IS A SIPL EASY TO USE CHORUS THAT IS PERFECT FOR MY NEEDS
Great chorus pedal
I bought this pedal because I didn't have a chorus pedal of my own although I was familiar with several such pedals which I would occasionally borrow from my peers. I play guitar for more than 25 years and also have experience with recording and production. This pedal really made me satisfied not just because it was cheap but also because it really has a nice and very usable sound. It is on a silky side, unobtrusive and without any unwanted side effects (i.e. noise or muddiness). It's quite transparent and reminded me of some more expensive choruses. There's not much to tweak on this pedal and I find it very convenient. If you are on a budget or just want to have a chorus pedal in your arsenal lie me, it's a no brainer.
As good as it gets for the price!
I play in a rock cover band. One of the songs we play is 'Empty Rooms' by Gary Moore where I play a little bass solo right before the guitar solo!
Well... this is the first time I nailed the sound of the bass!
Anyways, the pedal is beautiful, strong, and has an amazing range.
Great purchase!
Great for creating an 80s synth bass sound with a bass guitar
I found quite an odd use for this on my pedalboard - using it to create an 80s synth sound like that of A-Ha for example - but it does this brilliantly! Would have liked an overall level control but for the price this is a sturdy bit of kit
Looks fun? Sounds fun too!
Awesome pedal, couldn't believe the price tag. Does its job nicely and looks amazing too, you know? It has that classic vibe style... Super cool!
i love harley benton , this pedal is nice and usable chorus , i use it in chord picking and it sounds awesome, easy control , durable case
love this brand have many thing from harley benton and never had a problem like with tc electronics brand...harley benton for life
Solid
I am not much of an effects guy so I bought this to try get into the thing. I do recordings and music production working with bands so my ear is kinda picky. So this one was really fine I must say, nothing to complain about. I use it to give extra flavour to the clean sound of the guitar and does the job beautifully. For the price I don?t think you can go wrong. I haven?t tortured it yet so I can?t say about the built quality...
Chorus Tank!
This chrous is a great value for money option!
Built like a tank,I can get those classic 80s pop guitar sounds and those crazy zakk wylde sounds in just one pedal.
Very nice!
Great chorus pedal
Does exactly what a chorus pedal should do and for the price its perfect
Nice chorus effect
I use a lot of chorus in my music and have found this pedal offers a nice variation to my EHX Small Stone and Boss CE-20 pedals. It has it's own character which I personally like. It's build quality feels solid with a nice heavy metal outer case and the knobs feel good and sturdy. Batteries seem to last quite a long time with the pedal also.
Very nice chorus
I am very pleased With this pedal.
I love this Chorus pedal
I was putting together a second pedal board and like a bit of chorus but did not want to spend too much on a pedal. The classic chorus is 30 euro so I gave it a shot. Wow am I glad I did. This is a great sounding pedal. Does what its name suggests. I love it.
Very Good
A solid pedal despite its price, in hard metal case, it seems to handle the foot stomps very well. The knobs, though light plastic, turn lovely. The sound is of course not the one from a Japanese Boss CE-2, but it sounds very damn good: a warm chorus that oscillates nicely, plus it's got only two knobs, which ease its tuning.
Yes it is blue and white, yes it has drawings of muscular men posing, and it's not from a name brand. BUT it is a good purchase that does its job surprisingly good for its price. 10/10 would buy again
Just to start off with, I've never owned any other Chorus pedals to compare this one to, but I've utilised the chorus effect within my Marshal head unit and via my recording DAW so I am familiar with the effect in general.
I've been using this pedal now for a few weeks, and so far I've not had a single problem with it. It's still fully working, the button itself is very accurate and the true bypass is as true as it could be.
I find the chorus to be a very lush sound; both the rate and width seem to effect the sound all the way up to 100%, rather than some pedals which stop after about 50% and do no further. On the most extreme settings, it sounds horrific; but that's expected, so it does it's job well here (if that's the sound you want).
My personal settings usually have a low rate and a medium width (or the reverse of that), which adds a nice slice of chorus without effecting the tone to the point where it sounds out of tune.
My only critisism is that it does appear to be more "spacey" that I'd like, but that is the very nature of the chorus pedal and for the price you pay this is a fantastic all around pedal.
Nice cheap chorus
A simple little chorus pedal with nice sound.
No humming, easy handling, I'm really glad I bought it.
The only thing bothering me is that it seems to boost the volume a teeny-tiny bit but it's not really noticeable.
All in all great value for the money.
Brilliant chorus pedal! A must for any pedalboard.
First off if you are considering buying this pedal but you are worried about structural integrity and whether it sound good or one, don't be worried as Harley Benton are more or less like Joyo of which replicate and produce a lot of extremely good pedals to the quality of the big brands such as Ibanez,Boss and EHX. Although this pedal doesn't offer a lot of features it is far from bad, in fact it is extremely good, both knobs are very responsive and you can notice a difference in the sound with even the slightest of adjustments. The structural integrity of this pedal is brilliant, the case is a good and solid metal, the switch does not feel like its going to break and the battery compartment is nice and sturdy. Sound wise this pedal is amazing, it is a really nice crisp chorus of which doesn't diminish any guitar tone so you get a wonderful chorus effect. This is an absolute must if you need a decent chorus but don't want to break the bank, in fact i would strongly recommend any of the Harley Benton pedals as from what i have seen/tried they are all extremely well built and sound ace.
Great Value Pedal
Love these Harley benton pedals. Inexpensive compared to mainstream brands so you can try loads of them but they still sound and perform great.
Nice usable Chorus pedal that sounds good on it's own and works well with other pedals and has a true bypass. What's not to like at this price.
This one is REally good!!
This one is really good Chorus!! For those playing CLean tone? try to add this chorus for a very reasonable price it will give you a nice warn and clean sounds.
For beginners and professional used. you dont have to spend more money for chorus this one really works fine..
