Unbelievable
Amazing little guitar. Looks great, well built and sounds so good for such a small guitar. Great for sitting on couch picking away. You literally can't go wrong for how good this is at this price.
A Good Sounding and Beautiful Looking Guitar
I saw this guitar with the abalone purfling and the elaborate fretboard inlays and thought there's no way this can be real. I mean it was only $209. I had to order it. Overall, this is a good guitar. The sound is a little thin but I had it professionally setup and it plays like a dream. The quality was not up to what I expected having two Harley Benton electrics, but, again, this is a $209 guitar that plays and sounds well. The fretboard is amazing as is all the appointments, including wood binding. I'm glad I got it.
bad guitar build
The guitar came dusty, dirty, the neck and bridge were painted with tonic, I don’t know why they did it. There is a small scratch on the case. It was clear that the guitar was being finalized, at the upper end of the neck there was a rough work of the master. But all this is trifles, there are 2 main problems:
1 - neck angle, the neck is set incorrectly, which does not allow you to adjust the height of the strings.
2 - plastic pegs - do not withstand the tension of metal strings.
Bottom line: The sound of the guitar is not bad, the assembly and construction of the guitar are terrible, the tuning heads are 100% for replacement, I don’t know what to do with the neck angle, over time the soundboard will sag, and the tilt effect will become critical. Buying this guitar you risk, I recommend paying attention to stronger brands! I am disappointed!
Great value!
I own lots of expensive guitars and needed something I could travel with and let my kids play without being anxious about it being damaged. For the money, a solid spruce top and walnut neck and sides (I assume laminate) how can you beat it for $200. Impressions. Strings were too heavy and filthy - maybe 12’s. I put new 10’s on. Also the action at the nut was way too high. I didn’t want to spend $100 to $200 for set up on a $200 guitar so I took a chance, knocked the nut out and sanded it down and the action was much improved. I think the tone is very good, much brighter than the mahogany you find on most low end guitars. The frets are a little rough, not terrible, but again, what do you expect for $200. The finish is very nice. All in all, a great value.
Blown Away
The sound coming out of this little beauty....for the money I spent for it? I bought a Washburn back in 1989 that cost me almost $900. This just blows it away. The sustain on this guitar is unbelievable. AMAZING. Just wish I'd got the Harley Benton gig bag.
Packs a punch for a small guitar
I don't normally write reviews but I think this one definitely needs a mention. This is my 3rd Harley Benton and they just keep getting better. It's lightweight, looks amazing and sounds amazing. Customer satisfaction yet again.

Excellent parlor guitar for the price
I have owned at least nine Harley Benton guitars and this is my favorite. The instrument is small and lightweight. The neck is not too thick and feels just right with a shorter scale. The sound has a nice balance between treble and bass and good projection for such a small guitar.
Great parlor style guitar
Stunning looking and playing guitar . I’ve been playing guitar for 40years and this is worth every penny. Awesome sounds , easy to play. I have a beautiful Taylor and this plays as nice .
Excellent
This is the best acoustic I have played .
