Great vintage sound for the small body.

Great quality, very lovely to look at. Body is small, so no issue to move around. Tone and volume are not what you would expect from this body size, it is loud and very lively organic sounding. Would recommend for its tone, ease of playability and portability. Quite handsome as well :)

I like this guitar

Guitar came well packaged and within the specified time(Ontario Canada) There was about $25 duties to be paid on this order.

My first impressions were of how nice the guitar looked and smelled...Mmm

Nice strings that do not have to be replaced...nice

Tuning pegs look real cool.

Not without issues though...the second fret was high and thus causing buzz if fingering within the first fret. I reached out to Tomann and they credited me to have the work done here. Very quick resolution. Nice!!

The tuning pegs look nice but can be fussy and a tad creaky, but they get the job done. Had the fret repaired and with some truss rod adjustment it plays like a dream....for a laminate guitar is sounds really good and the plus is that humidity levels (coming this winter) will be much less a concern. Big factor in my purchase decision.

The electronic are really nice for entry level Fishman's...so nice that I found a similar package online for a future acoustic mod.

If it wasn't for the fret and the "creaky" tuning pegs I would give this guitar a heck yes 5* rating.

Now that it is set up to my liking, it's a 5 imo.

Oh...did I mention how beautiful it smells? LOL

It is a guitar.

What I mean with that is that you cannot complain about her. It's sweet, and rounded sound, very comfortable nut for smaller hands, and perfect 3/4. All right , maybe don't expect the acoustic sound of a high standarts guitar, but it will surely do the job. It has a nice pick up, great deepness of sound.

One thing I love myself from it is the shape of the classical tuners, which they also work nice with both acoustic and classical strings. Never did it before with a electro/acoustic guitar, but we use it with high tension classical strings, and it's making the guitar super charming.

If you want something to relax from big and heavy guitars, this is a nice option , 'cause it also has a very travelling lightweight feeling (I don't even use a strap with it)

The building and the finishing is very correct, maybe needs some adjust on the neck, but I think it was for too long in stock, because when I had it, seemed to have some fungui in the wood from the neck. We managed it with tea-tree oil, but was not so nice to think that my guitar would be eaten up.

The fretboard also has some inconvenances, they rust pretty fast (I don't live in a very humid climate right now) and they tend to come out on the ends from the last frets.

Nevermind, I love my guitar, and I don't want any other!

Beautiful Guitar, Exotic Wood Beautiful Sound

I Bought this guitar because I saw the Youtube Demo and It Just sounded so beautiful and full yet balanced. It is the perfect size for travelling or playing on the couch and you do not have to strain to reach over it because the body is so neatly sits on Your lap. But unlike many other parlour size guitars it has a really Full, Rich and Balanced Sound, My Brother who Has a Lowden Guitar from the original factory in Ireland was impressed with the sound even though his guitar cost about 4 to 5 times the price of Mine, and with the pickup and built in tuner, I dont think You can beat this guitar for Quality? Value for Money or Feature anywhere near this price, If You are thinking about buying this Guitar, My Advice is Do It, You will not regret it and You will have a great little players/writers Guitar for Life and I Hope that you will love it as much as I Do.

Very good looking guitar, and quality feels very good. The head shape of a classic guitar is a nice idea from the manufacturers, and makes it unique. Low frequencies (bass) don't sound as good as a dreadnought guitar, due to the small body, but that's what i expected anyway. Once plugged on an amp, sound is fantastic! Lovely guitar for the price!

Absolutely tremendous!

I recently used a Martin parlour guitar on a recording and loved it, but couldn't afford to buy one. Then I watched Benedikt's YouTube video demo of the koa and java CLP-15E and loved the sound of the latter. I placed my order on Saturday evening and it was delivered the following Friday morning - tremendous service! And what an instrument it is! It has a warm, not too bright almost jazzy sound (the video did it justice), the action is good and it looks beautiful. I haven't tried the electronics yet except for the tuner, but it's a Fishman; it's bound to be good. This is my 5th Harley Benton, they are all very different and all very good. But I reckon the CLP-15E java might be the best yet.....
