Harley Benton Coated Phosphor 010 Anti Rust 4-stars Reviews
they do though don't they ?
These strings were fitted to an old yamaha fg420 with pickup before lockdown. Much practice and many gigs later I changed them because the coating had worn off. But they still sounded great through a pa system. The fact they are so light,10s,will give some fretbuzz, but the tradeoff in playability is worth it.
Great strings for the price, but no replacement for premium
I was curious to try these strings on a Harley Benton acoustic. They hold the tuning well, seem to be lasting and the sound is good.
However, they are too squeaky to me, so will go back to Elixirs.
Good deal
Good strings for the money.
a true value set of strings. As good as strings costing 50% more
Very fine
Feels good, they last pretty long amount of time, sound nice and bright
Cheap strings
For the price, sound is okay.
So far, they haven't broken. Durability is fine too, I guess.
Good choice for beginner guitarists searching for low budget strings.
There's no point investing in high quality strings when your still learning how to play chords properly. Also, there's no reason why advanced players can't use these. They're totally fine.
Better than expected
As the title says these are better than I thought they would be. They are fine for live playing for me, the only issue I had was when I was recording lead parts, I found them a bit sub par.
Good value and performance
These strings are ideal for the busy gigging performer who demands quality at an affordable price. These strings have proven themselves to us on countless numbers of gigs as an acoustic Duo..bright and toneful and with care can they last more than one sweaty gig!Why pay more for a coated string option.
