Charlie's CST24T
I've played this guitar on several songs with my band, and I love the way it sounds. It has a solid feel and sound with some warmth to it even when playing some heavier songs. I highly recommend this guitar for anyone looking for a high-quality instrument at an affordable price.
Great Guitar
Buy one great guitar for the price!
great guita.
when i got this guitar i was 1st amazed by the green emerald top.
i did a good check over of the guitar and found no flaws what-so-ever.
and when i plugged it in and played it, i was excited as can be with the quality of the sound i heard. in fact i hated to admit it but, it played as good as my les paul. stays in tune every time. great guitar!
WOW!
I absolutely love love love this guitar!
It's my very first HB guitar that I have bought but it'll definitely not be my last. It's gorgeous, it sound amazing and has awesome features.
The choice was between this colour and a Paradise Flame but I am very glad that I picked the Emerald Green one. It's absolutely gorgeous with a stunning finish and I cannot complement it enough! Put it together with a purple strap and you have a perfect quirky "The Joker" finish.
Let's get serious though for a second, there's a lot of good reviews out there, both on the website and on Youtube and I can only tell you that they are telling the truth. My guitar when it arrived already had a very good action, no sharp frets - and get this: it was in tune! -
I just took it out of the box and started playing and couldn't put it down.
The pickups are great and I love the pull-push switch to get a single coil out of a humbucker. Rock, Metal, Blues and Clean, this guitar can do it all.
I am seriously happy with my purchase and together with my freshly ordered Boss Katana MKII 100, there's no song, no genre that safe from us anymore.
Listen to your gut, it's always right and get this guitar! ;-)
Disclaimer: Get it at your own risk because you may become addicted to this guitar. :-D
Wow!
I wanted a PRS style guitar, and had seen this in green and thought it looked pretty good. And for £230, it seemed like a good buy - You tubers were giving the CST-24T rave reviews, so I thought I'd try it.
It took a while to get here, as they seem to be quite popular. I think I waited about 7 or 8 weeks for mine.
It arrived, and after a quick setup, a stretch of the strings, reduce the action and check the intonation, it was ready to go. And boy, did it go.
The Roswell pickups are brilliant, although I find the bridge pickup has a little too much treble for my ear, but easily fixed by rolling off the tone knob.
It has all the tones you need for a humbucking guitar, and will easily coil-split if you want them to.
Downsides? There aren't many, especially for the cost; but for my 2p's worth, here are a couple of things I might do with mine:
Change out the tuners. They're pretty good, but the ratio is something like 14:1, which for me means it's sometimes tricky to get the tuning done quickly. May swap them for a set of 18:1 locking tuners.
Change the knobs from the chrome silver ones to black cylindrical ones. I think the silver ones are a bit too much "in your face".
These are just my preference, but you could leave it as stock, and have no downsides at all.
Finally, I have a PRS SE Custom 24, and I compared the two. The difference? About £600. The CST24 stands up very well against the PRS. The PRS, in my opinion is better, but is it £600 better? No, I don't think so.
Combine the CST24 with a Harley Benton Tube15 and you've got a small gig-ready setup that'll give you almost everything you need for under £500. Throw in a couple of pedals, and you're good to go.
If you've read this far, just go buy one. It's a proper guitar for proper guitarists.
Simply can not be beat at this price.
An incredible guitar at this price point. Would easily be a $500 to $600 guitar if it had a different name on the headstock. Pick ups may feel a bit hot but manageable for sure. Only noticeable issue is the nut was cut a bit short on the bass side but this does not effect the feel and at this price is a very minor detail. The finish is incredible and the cream binding and pick up rings compliment the deep emerald green oh so well. Easily has become my number one standard and drop D guitar.
A wonderful PRS-style guitar
Harley Benton continues to impress with it's lineup of designs. This guitar plays great, sounds great and is pure eye-candy to look at. The overall build and playability quality are far beyond what the price tag says and is comparable to guitars costing three or four times as much.
Brilliant
This is one class guitar !
Another Harley Benton hit!!!!!
Great guitar!
Bought this beauty not long ago and had an absolute blast with it! It feels great in hands, it plays well and most importantly, it sounds awesome. Tuners are also quite good quality. If I absolutely had to find a bad thing about it, it would be a really really small indentation on top of the guitar, close to where strap is attached but the indent is so small and not noticable unless you reaaaaally look for imperfections that its almost not worth meantioning. Indent is almost unnoticable, I accidentally stumbled upon it when I was moving my fingers across the guitar and slightly felt it. Everything else is great in my opinion, at least so far, and for this price its a really great guitar.
Verdict: If you are in a debate wether to buy it or not, buy it, you won't regret it, believe me!
Poor Rascal's Special (PRS)
It's Not Right But It's Okay
For the money Extremely impressed
Assumed build quality would be average, wrong, as good as my Epiphones if not better, Pickups better then expected as well, only letdown were crappy knobs (easy cheap fix)
Sustain for days!
As a bedroom musician, having multiple guitars is almost a must. When I ordered the CST-24, I was expecting a good-looking guitar which I would have to replace the humbuckers of, but the first time I plugged it in and played an E power chord, the sustain really suprised me - it outperforms my higher-end guitars by a lot, not to mention the tone was actually quite good. The coil-splitting option adds versatility, which is much appreciated too.
The looks, needless to say, are stellar (green is, after all, my favorite color), and the quality of the build is pretty good overall, and the few quality issues that I did encounter were easily fixable, and that's coming from someone who's not an expert when it comes to tinkering.
Something to consider before buying - this guitar has a vibrato, so I'd suggest upgrading to locking tuners (HB brand worked fine for me).
Buy this guitar. You won't regret it.
It arrived today and straight out of the box the action was spot on and the intonation is as close as any of my other more expensive guitars (perfection is for the gods). Beautiful looking guitar. Nice and slim. Feels good against the body. Toggle switch gives a wide range of sounds on the pickups. Nice wide fretboard / fret radius. For the price, I'm very impressed. You just can't go wrong with this and because it doesn't cost the same as a small country's deficit, (PRS, I'm looking at you) you can always spend a few pennies on modding it if that is your 'thang'. Can be used for all the genres.
BEST THING OUT THERE FOR THE MONEY!
YEP! It is the best guitar out there for the money. Like most of the Harley Benton (I owned 5 HB guitar so far), no other guitar brand can beat the HB sound, build, and looks for the price. This one compare to my PRS 24, I would say this can really go head to Head. I use this as my primary recording guitar.
Good Value
Has a small hole in the fret board and the PU frames are warping.

My favorite
I own 5 electric and 5 acoustic guitars. I own brands like Ovation, Yamaha, Ibanez, Epiphone, Takamine, etc., and this one is by far the best looking and my favorite to play! It needed a little tweaking at first, but nothing major. This is a well made and beautiful guitar!
An amazing guitar, especially at this price
This is a fantastic, versatile instrument, the finish is great and with the push/pull control you can sculpt the sound infinitely!
The hardware is great, the only extra thing I'd like to see is locking tuners but they are easily swapped in and it's hardly surprising that they're not included at this price.
I'm already eyeing up my second (and third) Harley Benton!
Great guitar!! Should sell for more
Received it, adjusted the tuning, and played it for hours that night. The pickups are a little less output than I thought they would be, but they are really the only thing that I can find issue with and it's more about taste than issue
Unbelievable value
I've had this guitar for a few months now and I'm blown away by its quality, it's right up there with guitars that cost x3 as much.
The only minor issues I have with it are the tuners, which are pretty bad and the nut isn't cut very well. With that being said, it was still set up very well right out of the box and plays beautifully. For the money it's a no brainer and I'd definitely recommend to anyone.
