Cheap gear - Not worth it

Hey there,

I wanted a "PRS" style guitar at attractive price.

Unfortunatly, the fabrication quality isn't there: pickup are moving, handling isn't great.

Other HB at this price range have better quality fabrication.

And this is why I am returning it

A fabulous guitar

I've had my CST-24T Paradise Flame for a few months, I couldn't be happier. This is now my guitar of choice over my USA Fenders. Comfortable to play, sounds and looks great too. I would recommend this guitar to anyone.

A keeper

Incredibly well made considering the price range. The finish looks amazing.

nice sound ... neck .... tuning....weight....only the tremolo is kinda funny...i dont use it anyway ....

Comfortable neck.

In truth, the neck on this feels better than that on my PRS Custom 24SE. The looks are superb...better than the internet photos. It is a bit heavier than the Custom 24SE and the pickups are hotter. I am very happy with it.

Not a PRS but

It's a nice replica.

It has good versatility with 2 humbuckers and a coil split tone pot.

Tuners had some play but held tuning, and there's something funky with the bridge that makes it pop out of tuning that I haven't figured out yet.

almost perfect - apart the painting

The guitar is almost perfect, yes I will change tuners and pick ups for better ones, but these do their honest job. Once filed and lubed the nut, removed the central spring tremolo of the three, accurately set up the guitar works perfectely. The frets do not buzz nor have sharp edges, but yes could be better polished. The real bad is the painting: too much filler between the binding and the veneered top, TOO much, also in some spots the paint coloures the binding. The colour of the veneer is so unrealistic that may let you think it is not even a wood veneer but just a picture of some kind stuck over the top. I would prefer much better for the top the simple natural "asian mahogany" of the back and the neck. Finish flaws a part I had to say that I am so happy with the guitar that I bought even the blue with P90s on it (P90s sound much better than hunbuckers and blue veneer looks more like made of wood). The neck shape is superb: a mix of modern C andh PRS slimmer pattern regular but not so wide as PRS wide thin: I love it better than PRS pattern regular and wide thin. I'm plannig tu buy a third one in black flame hoping that the wood filler around the binding will be less visible in that dark colour.

unbelievable for the money

For a £222 guitar this absolutely is amazing value for money, as soon as I got it out the box it looked and played great with no additional setup needed. The finish looks miles better than in the photos too.

Prior to buying this guitar I spent a lot of time looking at YouTube videos on the guitar, many YouTubers said to stay away from buying the variation with trem. But after using it for little over a month, it stays in tune very well as long as you don't go mental ;) only issue with my guitar in specific is my third string is binding with the nut... it is an easy fix.

What can I say that hasn't been said yet?

This is an amazing guitar, I am really surprised abut the quality, I have also the blue one with P90s, which I love because it has a very unique sound, tons of attitude, but this one feels more expensive, better finished. I don't what is it, maybe they have done some changes, as technically it is the same guitar with different pickups and different color, but feels even better. I don't put 5 stars in sound because the coil split when in single mode drops too much volume, but the full humbucker sound is very nice, I don't feel upgrade is needed at all. But, if you are into p90s, do not think it for a second, the sound of the p90s version is lovely, never mind the feeling of the guitar, if I have to chose one, is the p90s version for sure.

I bought this as my first ever guitar for me to learn on.

I am no disappointed at all. So great and plays lovely.

Very Happy

Plays great, but had some technical issues.

The main reason that I am giving the guitar a total 4 star review is because of the service I received in reference to the issue. My guitar came with a tremolo whose screws were set at an angle, causing it to sit crooked. I was very agitated that this made it through quality control, but due to the fact that the guitar still played fine I decided to keep it with account credit that was offered to me as compensation for the problem.

WHAT A BARGAIN!

Arrived with a good setup, neck relief set and nut cut with with a comfortable string action at the first fret. Tuners are positive, accurate and stable. I know there is a lot of speculation on line regarding the fret work, in my case all frets were level, well seated and without any issues. Frets just required a quick polish with a cloth to get them to shine. Excellent balanced sound and variation between neck and bridge PU s

The pull switch on the tone control gives a great single coil option as well as the normal Humbucker combinations.

In single mode you can get usable strat like tones. The finish looks like a much more expensive instrument and the Wilkinson bridge is professional and stable. My only regret is I did not order one a long time ago however fixed this by ordering another Harley today.

It plays like a dream, love it even more than my other compreable guitars......ordering two more different models.

Very similar to his P-r-s- counterpart minus a couple of hundreds euros...

I didn’t kept it though, was to heavy for me, I like light guitars !

For the rest, it’s a no brainer

A Beautiful Instrument

I am overwhelmed at the quality of the instrument. It played in tune straight out of the packaging (almost). The finish is excellent with no dings or scratches and i absolutely love the thing to bits. From Germany to Australia in one week. Great!

I have encountered a problem though!!! The volume control does not turn off the sound of the pickups. There is a constant "ON" situation and I am not getting the full range of volume from 0 to 10. Worrying...yes indeed. It this a regular problem. I hope not.

That is my only negative. What do i do now??

Incredible value

From my guitar collection, this is favorite guitar. I have a 500€ range Ibanez and a Classic Vibe Strat. This one just feels amazing, and came impeccable out-of-the-box. Its pickup combination is simply unbeatable for versatility. I Love its split neck pickup for some Blues and funk cleans, and its bridge humbucker for some fat metal riffs. 200€ for this is a steal.

Absolutely stunning!

I once owned a PRS ce24 and this guitar is easily on par with that guitar in some ways. Actually in every way except for the laminate top (which is still gorgeous).

The sound, looks and playability, are outstanding at any price point. But at this price it is complete madness. I noticed that the trem arm now stays firmly on the guitar, Nice fix HB. A quick light file to the nut and some nut sauce keeps this guitar in tune with light use of the trem. I think adding an extra spring and some locking tuners and bamb. Absolute awesomeness! Next up the p90 version.

I was stoked to get this guitar but ultimately a problem will arise. The finish is top notch and the jatoba fretboard is a nice contrast to just ho hum black. When i get one that is not damaged i look forward to playing it.

Blown Away

I am a longtime gigging guitarist, free lance gigs, and record original material. I saw this guitar on a lot of videos, and guitarist were saying this is a very nicely made, good sounding guitar, and I thought it looked very nice. I bought one and use it a lot. Sounds, plays great, lightweight, nice flame top and stays in tune. I really can't say anything bad about it and at this price, really happy with it. I would recommend this guitar, for players that are looking for a nice versatile, light flametop guitar, and not paying several times as much.
