Awesome built quality

I have been an owner of CLD-41S, CLD-15M, CLA-16S and can tell that this CLA-15M is built as wellas the ones I had before. I sold the others so to buy another musical thing. As I had no acoustic for playing at home I tought at getting this one as its not too big and is loud enough. Also perfect for recording and is not too bright.

Actually the low strings are very much dark, which is what you get with Mahogani tops. Thats THE sound.If you want bright get the CLD-41S and there you get all the zing and twang you want as well as loud volume.

I had to down tune the strings to standard C so to get more dynamics under the fingers. Sounds nice down tuned and these 12 gauge stings are not too slack. In standard E the strings seems too hard under the fingers. Makes me think that 10 or 11 gauge would suit this guitar much better.

String action was around 3mm on 12th fret which is too high for me. Had to sandpaper the bridge saddle so to get 2mm action at 12th fret. A bit of truss rod adjustment and it plays well now.

Frets seems decent and no buzzing or fretouts on fretboard.

CONS; tuners are cheap as cheap can get! I turn the tuner half way and nothing happens. But they can tune and do stay in tune well enough.

Conclusion; for the money there is no better option! Thats a FACT!

The CLA-15M VS looks and sounds great. There is nothing more I can ask for a guitar at this price point.

Slightly smaller body and therefore much more comfortable to play, without sacrificing the low-end. I have it tuned down 1 full step, and it still articulates every note and chord.

Fret work is very decent, tuners work perfectly, light weight... I can recommend this guitar to absolutely anybody.

Excellent acoustic guitar

I have a few years of experience with playing acoustic and electric guitars and must say that this guitar is really worth its money.

Crafstmanship is very good, very good guitar with no obvious blemishes. It plays very well and everything is set up properly. I can't really find any cons.
