12-String Steel String Guitar with Pickup

Superb value
Good guitar build great value. Pickups are a let down on all HB because the Fishman is basic and not too bad though. All guitars with the same pickup sounds the same. The acoustic sound is great though, another voice in your guitar chior
Excellent guitar
Very very good for the price
I found the action a little high
But an easy fix

What a joy to play!
I was very pleased when I unboxed this amazing 12-string guitar. The finish was flawless. The rosette around the soundhole is simple yet beautiful, playing off the layers of the binding. The setup was good. Neck is straight. And smooth. I tuned it up and just started playing, enjoying the ringing of the jingly chorus. No sharp frets. The inlays look good. I played it with the strings that it came with. I know a fresh string change with make it even better, but changing 12 strings is a lot of work! Lol. The sealed, diecast tuners seem to be working well. I'm summoning my inner John Denver, but stopping along the way to strum some Pink Floyd, Supertramp, and Boston. A solid top jumbo 12-string at an amazing price. Did I mention this guitar is a joy to play?
Fantastic!!
Very nice 12 string guitar!! I figured that all the other Harley Benton guitars have been great and I was in need of a 12 string and ordered this one. I am very impressed with the sound and how well it plays especially for a 12 string. The action is very good right out of the box and there is no string buzz or flat spots. Intonation is perfect and guitar sounds awesome all the way up the neck. The onboard electronics work well and the tuner is very accurate and tunes this guitar nicely. I highly recommend this guitar!
Excellent value!
Talk about “ bang for your buck “, well worth it!
A very nice guitar
I wanted a 12 string to add to my collection. I mainly fingerpick on 6 strings and I didn't want to pay too much. I've had friends recommend Harley Benton electric guitars as being exceptional for the price so I decided to have a look at the acoustics on offer... I'm glad I did and agree with many of the reviews. This is a very nice guitar!
Straight out of the box, as soon as I picked it up I could tell straight away that it was OK. The neck felt good - slim with a wide nut... and tuned up (without any additional setup) it was comfortable and very playable. And the build quality is amazing. It's a beautiful looking guitar, I love the shape.
I set up my own guitars and to be honest there's not much I need to do here. I'll check the frets and adjust the neck if necessary. The nut slots are perfect as they are. The saddle needs taking down a bit to improve the action further up the fretboard and two of the strings need their spacing correcting... that's all it needs.
Brand new it sounds a bit "bright" but better (and more playable) than my old 70's EKO 12 string which I'm renovating, and I reckon in a couple of years the wood will mature and it'll be warmer/richer.
No issues with delivery. Well packaged and the strings were slack (nice touch!). This is a very nice guitar for the price... I'll be back!
What a head turner!
I’m so happy with my recent purchase of this 12 string. It’s been some time since I owned a 12 that I was worried about the quality. Was I ever wrong. The quality control was and is exceptional. Don’t hesitate get one today. You will not regret it. I promise.
Stunning value, but little things count.
I'm a 12-sting specialist. I play fingerstyle jazz on 12s. I don't want 'jangle.' I want all the strings in tune all the way up the neck. This 12-string is beautiful and built well. I had to replace the bridge saddle with a new one with custom intonation tweaks and adjust the neck relief a bit. Now it plays very well in tune, except for the low E string, which still pulls a bit sharp as you go up the neck. But even the most expensive 12's I have played are never intonated properly. The tone is getting warmer and better in general as it breaks in with new Elixir Polyweb's. The little thing that bugged me was that the bridge pins are really cheap plastic and not tapered. They are cylindrical and jammed in so tight, I was afraid of damaging the bridge when I changed the strings so I replaced them. All that said, the wood in the guitar is lovely and, so far, seems very stable. It's holding tune nicely. The built-in electronics sound fabulous through my PA. The pickup audio sample on the product page must be going straight to digital and it sounds pretty terrible. In real use it's great. Bottom line is, with the same tweaking I would have to do on any 12 at any price, this is a stunning value and a stunning axe.
