Great and easy to play

I love this guitar. It has really got me learning more about playing the guitar. Usefull with inbuilt mike, equalizer and tuner. I love the finish on the guitar!!

Good value for money

I have bought this guitar as my first steel string, so I am no expert on sound and such.

My takes:

- the guitar feels really nice and very well finished with no faults

- the tuners are not great as with any HB I have held so far

- the provided strings are not really nice, but this is a minor thing

- the guitar feels great and has a pleasant sound, it is very fun to play instrument, both fingerstyle and strumming

- the pickup is basic, but enough for my uses

Would recommend, for the price it is really a pleasant instrument.

Light and amazing sound

I thought the guitar would be heavy, but it is very light!! the sound is great and very vintage, I recommend this guitar 100%.

Lovely guitar for the price

This is my first acoustic guitar and I have to say I am over the moon with it. I have only really played electric guitar and now I can't put this down!

Set up is almost perfect on delivery and it is very easy to play.

My only criticism is that the frets need a good polish as there is a scratchy sound when bending notes, but if that is all that needs doing at this price then colour me happy.

HB Delta Blues DCE

I recently had to visit family in the UK and as a South African citizen I had to self isolate for 2 weeks after arriving in the UK. I decided to buy an inexpensive acoustic guitar to keep me busy while self isolating, I found the Harley Benton on the internet, had a look at some youtube reviews and decided to buy the bundle that included the bag for 104 Pounds. I did not expect much for the price but I was pleasantly surprised when I got the guitar. The build quality is very good and the finish is what you expect on very expensive guitars. No sharp fret ends, no fret buzz and a straight neck. The sound is also excellent. My initial thoughts was to leave the guitar in the UK but I was so impressed that I brought it back to South Africa with me. I can recommend this guitar to anyone looking for a easy to play and well built good value for money guitar. It plays better and has better sound than my Fender T Bucket.

Quite an unexpected treasure

I own a Takamine mid-level electro-acoustic, costing around double the whole set (guitar, bag, etc.) This is easily on par with that. Frets rolled off beautifully, low action without fretbuzz, good intonation, nice tuner, neck is perfectly straight. Not sure yet how it will keep the tuning, but I doubt that will be an issue. No visible issues with the body either, so... Wow. Just WOW! Did not expect this. I expected an okay guitar. Usable, but nothing extra. Well, I was quite wrong! And I'm more than happy for it! HIGHLY-HIGHLY-HIGHLY recommended guitar!

Fantastic value for money

I defy anyone to find a better guitar at the price.

I travel between the UK and my parents home in Ireland every couple of months and the cost and worry of bringing a guitar with me every time meant that I missed out on playing whenever I was there. I decided therefore to buy something cheap and cheerful, have it delivered to my Irish address and thereby have a beater to keep me occupied whilst there.

I'll be honest, at the price I wasn't expecting very much and was ready to do a lot of setup work when it arrived. I was very pleasantly surprised however to discover that other than change the strings and oil the fretboard there was nothing else to do! It sounds great and holds tune really well and whilst there are a couple of detail areas where it's obviously a budget guitar (decals for inlays, etc) the performance is far beyond the cost. It also looks really good, with the dark wood and unfinished top. It's so good in fact that I was happy to bring it to a session at the local trad pub where the other players overestimated its cost by 2 or 3 times..

All in all, it's a triumph. It won't replace my favourite Takamine, but won't hesitate in buying another Harley Benton should the need arise.
